"No one present for check in - felt a bit ‘cold’ - not temperature. Just feeling. No tea & coffee making facilities apart from an extortionately priced vending machine. Also my room was room 1 which was right by the front door, so I heard EVERY guest arrriving, even at 2 & 3 am. The bedroom, shower & room generally was fantastic however so these are just niggles. For the price, it was good value. "

"Place is great for families and I have a family of 5. 3 minute or less walk from the beach. Ocean House provides rooms that are more like small Loft apartments! We were able to cook and store all of our food. Dishes were provided in the room. The kids loved it . Would stay here again. The inky issues is the smell in the bathroom, which is something that seems to be a common thing in most of the coastal towns here in Europe, so we were ok. Thanks for the hospitality Ocean house. "Ithr hotel is close to the historic center. The staff was great with recommendations and accommodations. The room is very simple and clean. The price for a week was great. I would highly recommend it for the buget friendly seeking traveller."

"In Scheveningen and close to the Pier and tram stops (direct tram to Den Haag Central Station). Quiet street. Friendly staff. Standard room with shared facilities. Comfortable. Only potential downside is the early closure of check in. This could be an issue if a train is delayed and/or connection missed on the night of arrival."

"A nice hotel in a great location. The only room left was the family room so we had more space than we needed. The bathroom was small but worked. The breakfast was included and was fantastic! We are so glad that we decided to spend a couple of nights in this charming town."

"Very nice unit just minutes away from the beach. Stayed here to visit Amsterdam because in the city was too expensive and loved the decision. Train to Amsterdam is only 30 minutes and very reliable "

"The property is in an older building, it is a walk up to the room. Though it is right near the river and easy to get to from the Centraal station. Breakfast was at their other location the Rembrandt Hotel. A vegan breakfast is available and they accommodated our request, though they didn’t have any non dairy milk or cream for the coffee. The staff was friendly, and helpful. It was only a short walk to anything we needed."

"Good and calm location, close to the beach, easy access by car. Maybe guests should know that rooms in upper floors are accessible just via narrow and steep stairs ;-)"

"Great location in heart of town. Room is fairly basic but comfy with a great bathroom. Ideal for what we needed and dog friendly. Nice breakfast as well. Would stay again. "

"Good basic value - a small room with a good bed, but no chairs or table, so not very comfortable for reading or computer work. The breakfast is generous, but some hot breakfast options would be nice. (The full pot of coffee was much appreciated.)"
