"The lady in the lobby was very nice and helpful. Our room was clean and comfortable. They allowed pets so that was a big factor in choosing this Inn. It was also very close to the town for shopping and carry out food. "
Rustic, dog-friendly lakefront cabin w/ gorgeous lake views and private W/D
6/10 Okay
"Breaker tripped while trying to run the heaters. Cold at night with no insulation in the cabin. TV does not have major channels. Bathroom in the porch area. Garbage can outside was attacked by local animals. Could not seal lid to keep them out. No dishwasher. Cooking pans and utensils disorganized. Nice location but not sure we would stay there again. "
Lakefront cabin with woodstove, beautiful mountain views & private swimming dock

"Awesome but... The cabin, location, hosts, booking etc., were all phenomenal, this was our second time staying at this location as we loved it so much the first time. Unfortunately an encounter with a resident at the very end of the road cast a shadow over our stay. My wife and I were out on the water, I was in a single person canoe fishing and she was in her kayak just enjoying the scenery when a male came from his home, got into his motor boat and approached her accosting/accusing her of going onto an island in our vicinity (she never left her canoe and certainly didn't go on any island). He was demeaning and lectured her about nesting loons on the island. He then approached me, I was a couple hundred yards from my wife fishing around the island. He then berated me and stated I had likely already scared the loons off their nest and they would never return. He then asked if I was a renter in the most demeaning tone possible. First, I love loons and had there been any indication of a nesting pair on the island I would have steered clear, second, and perhaps more ironically, I am a wildlife photographer and try to treat wildlife and wild places with the utmost respect. Luckily (for him) I didn't realize until after the fact how he had spoken to my wife. If not for this arrogant/pompous ass our stay would have been perfect but this did unfortunately cast a shadow over our time there. The following day we saw presumably his grand kids paddling around the same island..."
