"I want to be fair on my review. The property charge extra 30 Euros for checking in after 6pm. I found this no good since traveling carries certain schedules, I consider 8 or 9pm is a common time to check in into any B&B, Hotel, etc. I do respect their rule. "Room was FANTASTIC, so incredibly spacious by European standards. The jetted tub was an amazing plus to our stay. Very well located in the city center of palermo. Hotel has a lot of Renaissance style decor, beautiful. Hotel restaurant was pretty good, too. Highly recommend this place if you're in Palermo."

"Go somewhere else. The list of problems we had here are never ending. The neighborhood also is not great, but I guess that’s most of Palermo. The owner apparently cannot take any sort of criticism and is in total denial. If one more person tells me that “everyone else loves” something I’m going to lose it. The mattresses were the worst mattresses I’ve ever had hands down. They were mush memory foam. MUSH. I sunk to the bed frame just sitting on it. But guess why, that wasn’t a good enough reason to refund us and let us leave and stay somewhere with good beds. There’s no design sense, it’s just random everything everywhere and isn’t appealing. My shower head didn’t function properly, likely because it wasn’t properly maintained, they had to fix it. My bathroom sink faucet also wasn’t properly maintained and sprayed everywhere when using it. There’s no tissues to blow your nose. There was no toilet paper holder. The shower towels are miniature. There’s no soft lighting in the room - just bright lights - not ideal when you’re ready to settle in. DO NOT STAY HERE. "

"Room was very clean and comfortable. The staff were amazing. They were friendly and courteous and went out of their way to make us feel comfortable and welcome. The owner was incredible and made sure that all our needs were taken care of. Driving in Palermo is not easy and he willingly escorted us to a main road. We are so gkad we chose to stay here"
