With the continuation of the COVID-19 pandemic, traveling now comes with more challenges. Take note of these worthwhile tips before jumping on your plane to Zhujiajian Island:

• Investigate if any travel restrictions apply to your destination and origin before locking in a flight. Also check if there are any special conditions you'll have to follow on arrival, such as mandatory quarantining.
• Wear a face mask even during airport screening. A TSA employee will ask you to temporarily lower your mask for ID purposes.
• Instead of handing a TSA officer your boarding pass, position it directly on the reader yourself. When that's done, hold it up for inspection.
• TSA is now allowing passengers to take one container of hand sanitizer, up to 12 oz (350 ml) in size, in carry-on baggage. This will need to be removed from your bag for screening.
• To minimize handling during the screening process, place items such as your phone and loose change into your carry-on rather than the bins.
• Separate any food you have for X-ray screening. Putting it in a clear plastic bag and into a bin reduces the need for a TSA officer to handle and inspect your belongings.
