I loved the charm of the old building. Breakfast was included and was very good. The famous Lukmaan restaurant is right around the corner. There is a mosque across the alley, so you will hear the call to prayer unless you’re a heavy sleeper. There is also street noise but it usually gets quieter the later it gets. There is no parking. Make sure the taxi driver points out the building because it’s very nondescript. Overall a great place to stay.

Was very grateful the hotel was able to arrange for taxi pickup at the airport as our flight arrival was bumped back to 12:30 AM. The hotel also agreed to have someone available to check us in at 1 AM, otherwise we'd have never found it let alone been able to get in. However, when I gave the desk the USD to pay the taxi driver, she told me should would have my change in the morning when we checked out. She knew our next driver was arriving at 10 AM but she was nowhere to be found with my change. Be aware that the 5 AM call to prayer will wake you up if staying anywhere near Stone Town.

Great welcome, easy, small, cute, 2 double rooms only rented out each with private bathroom. very quaint but typically as in Stonetown, the windows face the alleys and you can hear people opten walking talking but normal for intown house. would still stay again. great value.

Great location for exploring the town. I stayed in a ground-floor room near the front desk. The room faced the street, so I could hear people passing by, which made me a little nervous at first—but since it’s set further down the lane, it never felt like people were right outside my window, and it was nice and quiet at night. The staff were really friendly—when I was struggling with the entrance door key, they kindly came to help. Breakfast is served at a nearby restaurant, which was a nice touch. Thank you!

The property is conveniently located at the center of everything which is good and also not so good because of the constant noise day or night. I took the breakfast option, not so impressed because the choice is limited. The rooms are simply furnished but clean and comfortable. The property manager was super helpful, she went above and beyond to make sure that my stay worry free. I cannot say enough about the housekeeper, she is super nice and efficient. My biggest thing is the internet that was basically non existent except in the lobby. Otherwise the place is clean, staff friendly, helpful and welcoming, the area is safe. I wouldn't mind staying there again, I recommend it.

Äänieristys oli todella huono. Wc-tilat kaipasivat remonttia, wc kansi oli irti eikä suihkun viemäri vetänyt. Huone oli kyllä siististi sisustettu ja sänky oli mukava. Aamupala syödään erillisessä ravintolassa nurkan takana, siitä ei mitään kovin erikoista mainittavaa.

Schöne kleine Zimmer mit wenig Service

Insgesamt eher eine Pension als ein Hotel. Von außen schwer auffindbar, da kein Schild an der Tür. Einchecken und auschecken war schlecht. Beim einchecken sprach keiner English und beim auschecken war niemand da. Die Zimmer sind klein aber ziemlich neu und nett möbliert. Im Erdgeschoss allerdings ohne irgendeine echte Aussicht. Der Innenhof ist klein und soll wohl den Frühstücksraum ersetzen. Man frühstückt zwischen aufgehänkter Wäsche. Insgesamt habe ich mehr für den Preis erwartet.

Joli appartement intimiste

Petit hôtel très discret et bien situé au cœur de Stone Town. Le seul problème est l accès en voiture qui est n est pas évident et en particulier pour trouver une place de stationnement. Néanmoins le lieu est très agréable et particulièrement cosy.
