Great location for the walking tour, Old Fort, and Forodhani Gardens. Their staff was great - making sure we could quickly grab a pizza before our walking tour. Breakfast in the morning was also good. Unfortunately, we weren't made aware of the switch on the wall to turn on the water heater, so I had a cold shower in the morning.

Good location close to the Forodhani night market. We couldn't sleep due to the noise outside from the other Air-condition, and from the people cleaning and preparing breakfast from 6am.

Nice hotel lovely location in front of all the shops and amenities friendly staff breakfast was decent could do better lovely heritage look hotel would recommend anyone to stay there because its very close to getting around👍

The best last night stay in Zanzibar!

Great experience all round! Not sure why the stars aren’t higher as it was such a nice stay. The staff were welcoming, friendly and really went above and beyond for myself and partner.

The location of the property is fabulous if you want to get the historic feel of Zanzibar. The seafront is stone's throw sway on one side and the shops are stone's throw away on the other side. There is ample choice of restaurants within walking distance.

Good Place to Stay

Location was excellent in Stone Town. It was safe, friendly and clean. Service and manager were phenomenal. Not one piece of comfortable furniture, bed was adequate. Room had good air conditioner but TV was fuzzy. Breakfast was average, fruit was good.

Very well located

Very well located, in front of the old fort. The hotel has a diesel generator, wich is important in Zanzibar since the eletricity is not reliable. One day in the morning rained a lot and the eletricity was down but right after the generator took over. Great breakfast. A small but good pool in the top floor. The room was big. Very good hotel.

Great … but the Wi-Fi sucked!

Everything was good or even vert good, like the room 403 on top by the pool, EXCEPT the Wi-Fi up in the room totally sucked. The signal went in and out and when it was there, it was very weak. But for the money I paid during low season overall, except the Wi-Fi it was a good value.

Hotel midt i byen med pool på taget

Vi havde kun en enkelt overnatning. Fint værelse og personalet var meget venlige. Dejligt med en lille pool på taget, der manglede dog parasoller så vi kunne komme i skygge. Ligger meget centralt i forhold til shopping og udflugter

위치 좋고 엘리베이터는 없지만 짐을 객실까지 올려줘서 좋았음. 발코니에서 흡연 가능하며, 술탄 유적지 뷰임. 방은 굉장히 넓고 에어컨 잘 나와서 쾌적함. 조식은 쏘쏘하나, 물+음료는 구매해야함. (기본 2병 제공되나 양이 적음) 옥상에 수영장은 매우 좁아서 성인 세명이 들어가면 꽉찰듯 두 가지 아쉬운 점은, 첫째 객실 열쇠고리가 너무 커서 들고다니기 불편함(프런트에 맡기는걸 추천) 둘째, 예고 없이 저녁시간에 객실에 들어와 모기약을 치고 커텐을 내리고 감;;

Perfekt läge

Perfekt läge i Stone Town. Precis bredvid gamla fortet, nattmarknaden på andra sidan vägen med alla små stånd och den underbara matmarknaden med tillagade läckerheter. Gångavstånd till katedralen och gamla slavmarknaden. Helt ok frukost, vi bad om omelett och den var utsökt. Går utmärkt att gå till färjeläget.

Die Reservierung lag trotz Bestätigung nicht vor. Trotz angegebener Rezeptionszeit war keine Person da die etwas entscheiden konnte. Wir bekamen ein Zimmer neben dem Pool & unter der Dachterasse. Beides 24 Stunden geöffnet.Im Zimmer gab es kaum Wasser viele Mücken, und eine defekte Klimaanlage. Für den Preis unverschämt, Gutschein und Rabatt gab es bis heute nicht, weil das Personal auch von der Kompensationdabsprache nichts wußte. Personsl uninteressiert und nicht kompetent. Viel Glück beim Aufenthalt

A great place to stay, especially for a scuba diver. A 2 minute walk to the dive shop, preceded by a nuce complimentary breakfast! My room was cleaned spotless every day, fresh towels and sheets every day. All amenities such as AC,TV,pool,WiFi, were fully operational. Staff were all friendly and helpful. I'll definitely be staying here again!

Eine neue Entdeckung in Stone Town

Mein Lieblingshotel war ausgebucht, aber ich bin froh dass ich fuer 4 Tage das Forodhani Park Hotel gefunden habe.Beste zentrale Lage und trotzdem (im 4 Stock) sehr ruhig. Sehr nettes ucn aufmerksames Personal. Toll wie selbst der Chef mit zupackt,damit alles zur groessten Zufriedenheit laeuft. Der Pool auf dem Dach ist ein bischen klein fuer einen Dauerschwimmer, war aber kaum belegt. Der Restaurant Service war nicht ganz auf zack. Fuer einen Deutschen auch schade, dass es kein Bier gibt (d.h. auch keinen anderen Alkohohl). Aber da klappt downtown die "Nahversorgung" fuer den geschaetzten Kuehlschrank. Ich kann diese Wohlfuehl -Hotel auf jeden Fall empfehlen

Le séjour s'est bien passé, l'hôtel est très bien situé, à proximité du parc Forodhani, du centre ville et des départs des bateaux pour Prison Island. Tout peut se faire à pied. Le bâtiment n'est pas très récent mais bien entretenu. Il est bruyant (bruits de la ville, manque d'insonorisation dans les chambres) donc bouchons d'oreilles à prévoir ! Le point noir était la douche, entre les soucis de température (attention à l'eau bouillante) et de pression. Nous avons quand même pu nous doucher, mais il ne faut pas être pressé !
