「Incredibly historic building with unique individually decorated rooms! Perfect location for walking around Stonetown. Delicious breakfast served on rooftop! Request Belle room if you don't want a lot of stairs. It has a huge balcony along the front of the building so it's fun to see tourists stop and take photos!」

All staff members were so friendly and great!!!
I really enjoyed my stay there!!
The room was also nice and reasonable.
Breakfast on roof top was amazing, you can enjoy beautiful scenery of Stonetown there.

「I loved the charm of the old building. Breakfast was included and was very good. The famous Lukmaan restaurant is right around the corner. There is a mosque across the alley, so you will hear the call to prayer unless you’re a heavy sleeper. There is also street noise but it usually gets quieter the later it gets. There is no parking. Make sure the taxi driver points out the building because it’s very nondescript. Overall a great place to stay. 」
「We enjoyed our stay at the Spice Tree Hotel. The staff was helpful and friendly and the rooms were nice. The location was great for exploring StoneTown and the staff also offered great recommendations. We had a great stay!」
「I think it's a good location to enjoy Stone Town. This is a hotel that you can be satisfied with overall. One thing you may be a little concerned about is the hard lock on the door, which makes a noise when opening and closing the door.」
「We can't say enough good things about our stay at Habari House. My husband and I travel quite a bit and never have we stayed somewhere with such gracious hosts as G and Lucy. They welcomed us in and made sure we were comfortable and had all we needed. In fact, when I mentioned that my mattress was a bit firm, they went out and got a new mattress and a foam topper to ensure I would have a good night's sleep. I didn't want them to go to the trouble, but they graciously insisted.

"This is my second stay at this hotel (the first stay was in 2020).
They prepared the annex which is a bit far from main building.
It is just 2-3minutes, but the restaurant and bar is at the main.
(I don't know how is in the main building, but) the room of annex have no mosquito net even in Zanzibar (they said it is OK to other customers... really?).
So, I needed to turn on air conditioner all time, and it made me shivering all night (air conditioner worked good enough).
I wonder you can spend comfortably in this situation.
And more, stairs of the annex were not stable as in my country (Japan), so I always fell down.
You can enter the main building free (without showing the key or something), and this means outsider can go inside easily.
OK, this is in Zanzibar, Tanzania!!"
