Debora was on vacation but she deputized her mother Maria, who was gracious, warm and delightful. We had a bit of a problem finding the place (probably more descriptive directions could help since our GPS wasn’t too helpful). Still when we got settled it was great. Exactly as advertised. Maria directed us to a little “pizzeria”/ restaurant in the tiny village of Zambrone where we ate each night and had coffee each morning. Maria had also left all kinds of provisions for us, but we were being lazy and didn’t do any cooking! It was only about 10 minutes into Tropea which was delightful. Did the tourist thing for a day and spent the next day relaxing.
Only mild criticism - a “booklet” stating household quirks (such as how to use modern plugs in older type outlets - along with a converter) and where things were - the iron in a small cabinet in the bathroom for instance. Had no idea how to use the TV, and indeed didn’t even try. However, these are small things and overall everything was as advertised.
