A stone-built retreat inside Zakynthos Marine Park
Harmony Villa is a peaceful two-bedroom home, built in traditional Zakynthian stone and set in the quiet village of Mouzaki — inside the boundaries of Zakynthos National Marine Park, and two kilometres from Laganas beach. We’ve welcomed guests here since 2009, and the villa is designed for the holiday you actually want: slow mornings, long dinners on the patio, and nothing to worry about.
Inside
The heart of the villa is the open-plan living space, crowned by a high, vaulted wood-panelled ceiling and walls of exposed stone. Ceilings are generous throughout — a noticeable lift to the sense of space in a home this size. A comfortable sofa (which folds into a second double bed) faces a 43-inch HDTV with satellite channels. An LG sound system with aux-in is ready for your own playlist. French bifold windows open straight onto your private patio.
The kitchen is fully equipped for cooking, not just reheating — fridge, ceramic hob, oven, microwave, toaster, kettle, coffee-maker, and a complete set of kitchenware and utensils.
Bedroom 1 has a double bed and wall-to-wall wardrobes. Bedroom 2 has two single beds and a drawer cabinet — ideal for children or friends travelling together. The modern tiled shower room has a reliable hot-water supply, hairdryer and fresh towels.
Air conditioning (hot and cold) runs through every main room. Windows are double-glazed for genuine sound insulation — a quiet night’s sleep matters to us — and fitted with shutters and mosquito blinds. A washing machine, safe, and iron and ironing board are in the unit.
Outside
Your west-facing private patio is furnished for outdoor dining and sits within a fully fenced garden — a real advantage if you’re travelling with pets or small children, or if you simply value the privacy. The evening sunset view is one of the real reasons to stay here. A BBQ is set up for grilling, and private parking sits directly at your doorstep, with room for two cars or up to four scooters/motorbikes.
Location — the quiet side of Laganas
Mouzaki is a residential village on the edge of Zakynthos National Marine Park. It’s the traditional Zakynthos — stone houses, cypress trees, unhurried evenings — but with every practical amenity a few minutes away.

• Laganas Beach — 2.7 km (2-minute drive)
• Supermarkets, tavernas, ATMs, pharmacy — short walk or drive
• Bus stop at the end of the street (direct to beach and Laganas centre)
• Zakynthos Town & Ferry Terminal — 6.4 km (6-minute drive)
• Zakynthos International Airport (ZTH) — 5-minute drive
Laganas town itself is a lively resort with restaurants, bars and nightlife if you want it — but the villa sits well away from any of that, and nights here are peaceful.

A note on the pool
The villa does not have a private swimming pool. Two excellent public pools are a short walk away and welcome our guests — we’re happy to point you to the one we prefer.
A note on June and September
These are our favourite months on the island — the sea is warm, the crowds are thin, the Marine Park wildlife is most active, and evenings are pleasantly cool. Perfect for families, couples, and anyone who prefers Zakynthos at its most relaxed.
