Staff are helpful and polite. Stayed in room with lake view and it was quiet and peaceful (on Friday night). Breakfast variety is plenty too. Hotel provided complimentary fireflies watching as it happened to be fireflies mating season. It’s just a short walk to get public bus to Taichung HSR station and catching ferry at pier. There’s free 2 hours bicycle rental. If you are there on non peak season, they can allow u to use it for a couple hours.

Stay away if you want a good night sleep
In general, for the price and quality, you are not going to find it fair at this hotel, they seriously have the worst and most uncomfortable bed I have ever sleep, it’s as bad as just sleeping like a homeless in a cardboard box, the AC isn’t working so the room become like a furnace at night. Cleanses is good, but as far as comfortable, you won’t find it here. You will have better luck at other hotels

The location is excellent, walking distance to the pier. The lake is roght in front of the property. Lots of restaurants around. The breakfast buffet have many items, cooked reasonbly well. Overall good value.

1. Room is very small despite it is for 4 persons stay. 2. Not enough hooks (only one available) for hanging clothes in the toilet / shower room. 3. Not enough electrical outlet points. 4. No proper holder / shelf for putting shampoo & shower gel bottles in the shower.

Love the stay! Helpful and welcome staff! Valet parking! Great view from the room! The Japanese seems western room was lovely too!

Relaxing stay with nice view
Very convenient location just beside shuishe pier. Nice view of the lake from the balcony. The staffs were friendly and helpful. The only cons - bed was very hard.

Location is great but the rooms are outdated. Beds are so hard and uncomfortable, the door of the toilet and shower need fixing, also the bathtub plug not closing properly. In general it needs some good maintenance.

Lakeside!
Wonderfully convenient location, just a short walk from the bus depot and boat tours. Although it was beside the lake, currently there is no direct access because of some on going construction. The staff were so helpful and accommodating and easy to communicate with. Our room was spacious with very comfortable beds. The bathroom had separate shower and bathtub. Ample supply of bottled water and more can be asked for free. The buffet spread was complete and tasty. The lobby had this magnificent view of the lake. They sell the Hop-on Hop-off boat day pass at a discounted NT$200 instead of NT$300. I just found their rate too expensive for the room we got (not even lakeside). In all accounts, though, a pleasant stay.

Room was clean and had a super nice view of the Sun Moon Lake! It was so good to just stay there and see the boats and mountains in fog. It was very close to the bus stop so easy to find :)

Amazing morning view from hotel room
We enjoyed our 2-nights stay. Our hotel room has a balcony facing the lake and we had the best views in the morning (about 6.35am). There are some restaurants nearby but there are more options in Yidashao, which we spent a whole day there to visit the temples and Formosan Aboriginal Culture Village. Attached are the morning view of 2 different days.

Comfortable and quiet.
There is not much to do there so a day or overnight trip is best. It is good for families to come and stay there. The hotel is right on the water which is fantastic. The room itself was good and the bathroom was excellent. They need more plug outlets. Breakfast was standard with some added benefits. Overall it is a good place to stay for a night or two.

Breakfast wasn't good. We went to breakfast at 9:30am and no guests were around, the food didn't look like they've been touched yet. Location's good. TenRen's Tea and Starbucks is right below. A very short walk to few food stalls and souvenir shops. However, there aren't much proper food/meal choice around. You'll have to travel the south side of the lake.

The hotel is in a great location with an incredible view. It is convenient to the bus station + departure points for lake our boats. The incredible thing to me was there was no restaurant or bar in the hotel. They have this huge patio off the lobby with not a chair or table on it from where you could sit, relax, + marvel at the view. My room was great - clean + lovely + enjoyable undespite the noise from the ongoing Starbucks renovation.

Tolle Lage mit Blick auf den See. Balkon sehr schmal. Restaurant nur bedingt offen trotz anderweitiger Ankuendigung. Abends um 7:30: the cook went home. Zum Glueck war sehr freundliche Managerin zugegen, die uns ueberschwelgig dann bediente nachdem sie den Koch zurueck befahl. Hotel ist ok hat aber schon bessere Zeiten erlebt.
