Early check in was expensive. Room smelled and did not look finished. There was no closet or even hooks to hang a suit or dress. No trash can. Bed was comfortable.

York hotel

Rooms were being renovated which is a good thing. Hotel showed its age but was in the process of looking very nice. You could hear people in the room next to you. Everything was clean and had power outlets for USB and pronged devices. Bed was very comfortable. Lighting in the room was a little dark. Could use different bulbs or additional fixtures

The hotel is located near everything we needed during our stay (restaurants grocery etc). The room was spacious with a microwave & mini frig.

Worth the money

It was a pretty good room for the price. Although on at 8am on a Sunday morning they decided to work on the exterior and woke me up. No coffee maker as advertised. The shower was weak but warm. Good heater too.

Clean and adequate for my needs. No elevator

Check in was fast and easy. I did NOT know there was No elevator with two floors. I am disabled and walk with a cane and found out after checking in at the front desk and went looking for an elevator. Room was clean, beds were double beds, and comfortable. Breakfast was nice and to the enjoyment of my 4 grandkids that joined me.

The room was very nice. The breakfast was great. Staff was very professional. The only problems we had was when we checked in the floors was very dirty we had white socks on and they turned black we told the office to have them mop our floors and they said that they might not get to them today and they didn't get to do them so i said something when we got breakfast the next day the cleaners was told to do them they came in and gave us clean towels but they didn't mop our floors the other problem was that we seen roaches in the room which we also told staff about.

Fire alarm beeped constantly, no internet at my room, no coffee maker, Kleenex, or toilet paper holder, very noisy, roaring bathroom fan, A/C difficult to set or regulate, security fastener on door placed so that it didn’t close, bed not comfortable, no shelf in bathroom for items. Room was spacious and clean.

Just loud but very clean!

The rooms were very clean. I requested to leave the first room as a young baby continued to cry. The adjoined room door is paper thin and it was like being in the same room as a crying baby. I requested a new room after the third time the baby woke me up. (I don't blame the child. I know its difficult with young babies crying) My second room was worse. Room #137. I woke up a 5am to use the restroom. Never could fall back asleep with the traffic outside. I could hear everything outside. Very clean motel but VERY noisy!

Pictures of room were taken when property was doing better! Sofa had mismatched cusions that didn't fit, bathroom was in varied stages of unpainted sections, tile spacers instead of grout, missing pieces, etc. Shower curtain was fabric with no liner so floor became damp and slippery. Bed was comfortable though and we were mainly there to sleep, not hang out.

Phones did not work No flush handle on toilet (had to remove lid and flush from inside tank) Front panel of micro wave was dangling, when my daughter touched it she got a shock. Was told I could pay in Canadian funds. (not so) All these things were related y\to manager. They were not surprised or concerned I have never stayed at a place like. We will be more alert from who we book' PS Breakfast was done well * (one star)

Person on night shift at check in was rude and rude and rude. Did not get what we booked which was supposed to be a room with a King Size bed, first room had no heat and TV did not work. 2 nd room had no cold water at bathroom sink. However staff in morning a young lady was amazing and at least when we left we had a smile because she was great. I stay in budget hotels often and don’t mind paying almost a $100 but this one should of been more like$50

Rooms were clean staff was very friendly. Small cute breakfast in the morning. Only issue is the shower water gets all over the floor when you shower. Other than that was a nice stay for family weekend.
