All BBC channels, + SKY Channels + Available German + Dutch + French and Italian channels + Good Internet . The villa is located at 5 minutes away by car , from heart town centre. The bus stop is 10 minutes walking from the villa. The villa is bright and spaciou, with large main bedroom with big wardrove, TV and treadmill. The other 2 bedrooms are spacious with large built wardrobes, 1 bedroom with 2 single beds and other bedroom with with king bed. There are 2 full bathrooms. all of this makes of this villa a perfect option for big families travelling together and all type of guess. The villa offer, 2 large terraces with fantastic open view to the biggest mountain in lanzarote, There is an enclosed great area with grill and with built BBQ, perfect for dining and at same time to be protect for the wind, there is a big table fro all family. Large- private sunbathing area , large swimming pools , ( max depth 1.5) . DVD and good Internet. Children friendly .Cot, high chair and baby bath available for FREE.

Hill family stay

A fantastic property with beautiful sunrises, it has everything you need to relax. Walks into town takes no more than 15 mins. The villa has everything you need for a great family holiday. The marina is a great place to eat at night but you are best to access via a car from here. Would highly recommend staying here, thank you Barbara.

Lovely relaxing stay

Barbara was fantastic throughout the whole process and gave us loads of good advice about things to do and see. The house is amazing with plenty of room and great facilities- it’s easy to find and the location is perfect with a nice 15 minute easy stroll to the beachfront which has loads of very good places to eat. There is a nice family beach in the town but the large more secluded beaches are only about 15-20 minutes drive away. We would definitely book with Barbara again!

lovely villa, with great facilities, very well kept and clean with everything you need for a self-catering holiday. Great outdoor pool and garden area, the pool wasn't very warm in January but the teenagers managed to use it. Beautiful Villa

We loved our week in Chalet Medina. The villa is immaculate and has everything you need for a perfect holiday. It’s a 10 min stroll to the centre of Playa Blanca and 45 to Marina Rubicón along the coastal path. There is a new Lidl supermarket just 5 min drive away for everything you need. Barbara was very helpful with check in and came to see us off when we left and gave us some great advice for our last day in Lanzarote. I really hope I get to stay at Chalet Medina again.

Great Villa, Reccommeded

We loved our stay in the villa and would look forward to returning for future winter sun. The property was spotless and the rooms spacious with everything we needed for a comfortable holiday. Despite being very late on arrival, Barbara welcomed us and made us felt at home immediately. Outside space was more than generous with seating areas in the garden, pool area and balcony. We made full use of the barbecue and enjoyed our alfresco dining. The location is great with easy access by car to Playa Blanca beach, Rubicon marina, restaurants and Lidl. Also, it is a good base from which to explore the island.We recommend this villa and would be happy to stay again.to stay again.hahappy to stay again.

The most perfect villa

I only have great things to say about the villa. Perfect location, stunning views, Barbara has been the best host, fantastic communication, made checking in easy and was very patient waiting for us after we took a wrong turn on arrival. The villa was clean, the bed is comfy, all appliances are easy to use. The pool was warm even though its December. Smart TV with every channel you could want. WiFi is good. Can't wait to come back. As good as it gets...

I'll keep it brief. The villa is HUGE!. Its spotlessly clean. Would be ideal for a family of six or three couples. Fantastic outdoor space for sunbathing relaxing by the pool or having a BBQ. The walk to town centre couldn't be easier a simple walk of approximately 10-15 minutes stroll. A taxi back €5. I would highly recommend a stay here. Dealing with host was simple and straightforward if I reqany information Barbara got back very quickly.

A super villa away from the tourist area

If you want to stay in a comfortable, clean and spacious property in a less touristy area of Playa Blanca, this villa is ideal. Once we'd got our bearings working out where the supermarkets were and the bus station (just a 10 minute walk away), we felt very settled. Barbara is an excellent host and there is nothing you can fault with this villa. It has everything you need. Comfortable beds, good showers, plenty of towels, well equipped kitchen and laundry and a fabulous outdoor area with a lovely pool (a bit cold in December though!) We enjoyed the 15 minute walk to the beach and restaurants. Yes, it's by the main road into Playa Blanca but we didn't mind the traffic noise. There were a lot less cars than here in the UK! We'd definitely stay again :-)

2nd time

This was our second stay at this beautiful villa, Barbara is just the best host you could wish for, responds very quickly to any questions we might have, we arrived late but that was no problem, nice welcome pack when we arrived, bread,water,fruit, busicuits,milk, cheese,ham etc which was just fantastic because most of shops was shut, villa was just as we remembered, just like home from home, outside area with pool is fantastic, plenty of room for sun bathing or just lounging around, every you needed was in the villa, walk into town was about 15 minutes, but taxi was only around 4 to 5 euros, you could book a taxi to come and pick you up from villa and it would come in about 5 minutes. 3 large bedrooms, air con in main bedroom on ground floor, loads of tv channels if you wanted to have a night in or just like me doesnt want to miss out on all sporting events. Would highly recommend this villa and i would once again like to thank Barbara for being so accomadating with our arrival and departure, would definitely come again for a third time, hopefully very soon.

Lovely Villa

This was the first time we have stayed in a villa and it did not disappoint. Communication from booking to arriving was brilliant and Barbara was lovely and a great host. The villa is huge and the pool a good size. We did have an issue with the pool but after a quick call to Barbara it was sorted the same day. Loads of outdoor space and plenty of different seating/loungers. The villa had everything we needed, even beach towels and the treadmill was great and was used by us all. We stayed for 13 nights and the towels and bedding were changed after our first week along with a clean of the rooms. There is a broom and mop and bucket to freshen up inbetween. You are supplied with 2 keys which was useful for different members of our family to go out separately.We had a car but still walked down to the promenade which took 10 mins and you are approx 7 min walk from Cash Diplo supermarket. The new Lidl is easily reached by car in less than 5 mins. Nearest restaurant is 5-7 mins away called El Tonel and we ate there a couple of times as the meals were great value and the staff were lovely.I would definitely stay at this villa again recommend it to anyone thinking of booking.

Fabulous holiday home.

a fantastic villa, it had everything you could want in rental, pictures dont do it justice, 3 bedroooms, master and a twin on ground floor, loads of wardrobe space, master had air con( which we needed because it was red hot) and other bedroom had a ceiling fan, 3rd bedroom was on first floor which had a double bed, massive walk in wardrobe and a bathroom/ shower and its own terrace overlooking the gorgeous heated pool, also had ceiling fan. Kitchen was large with a big dinning table which could seat 8, Lounge had a comfy L shaped sofa and loads of space to sit and chill. The villa had every cooking utensil you could want if you wanted to cook for yourself, All the rooms had tvs in them with various english/ spainish channels,the massice 50 inch tv in the lounge had every channel you could want, sky movies/sky sports, bt sports, bbc itv etc and loads of channels from other countries, Now for the best bit!! The pool area is beautiful, great size pool, seating areas all around, some for sun bathing and some for just relaxing under a shade, bbq area with a great big stone/tiled table, sink,fridge and stone built built in bbq, it was also covered to protect from the wind. Villa was located in the Los Chalets area, about 15/20 min stroll to the centre of playa blanca, taxi was about 4 to 5 euros if you didnt fancy the walk, Barbara the host met us at the villa and showed us around, couldnt ask for more from a host, nothing to much trouble and communication was first class.5*

Loved it!

Just had an amazing 10 day stay - hopefully this review will help those of you umming and ahhing over booking this villa. Our family were a party of 4, with the youngest of our children being 16. For the 4 of us, the property was plenty big enough, the rooms all well proportioned with plenty of space for making meals and for eating and relaxing. The pool is a good size but note that the depth is a constant (approx 1.2m), so diving and cannonballing may not be advisable for adults. Pool was clean and a fantastic addition which we used daily. Barbara was an excellent host, resolving the issues with the TV on arrival and the TV with access to hundreds of channels, movies and series is a fantastic addition for those moments when you simply want to get out of the sun. The walk up the nearby volcano (extinct) is well worth doing for fantastic views over Playa Blanca and over to Fuerteventura but would advise this is done early in the morning before the sun really starts to beat down - the walk up and round the crater takes approx 1hr and is a literally a 2 minute drive from the villa. Playa Dorada (5 min drive) was the best beach if you need sunbeds and parasols. If that isn't a factor then the drive (mostly unmade roads) to Papagayo is worth it. Stunning sandy coves and crystal clear water. 10 min walk to town but the local pub El Tonel, was good value, especially the burgers and is only a 2 minute walk away. Fantastic holiday, fantastic villa, fantastic host. Book it!!

Easter vacation

This was a lovely property and very spacious. The villa was very clean with pool & villa cleaning services, inc. linen change, after 1 week The villa is in a built up area but on the outskirts so there are good views & a short 10-15 min. walk to the town & beach. As a semi detached property at night you could hear next door’s TV around 21:00 in the main downstairs bedroom, though it wasn’t late into the night. You could also hear neighbours over the road as I think they had a few evening celebrations, again they didn’t go on too late. Neither could be heard from upstairs. The property had a comfortable internal climate, but as a UK family the thick winter quilt was too much, a blanket and sheet would have been just right. The quilt was too warm for us when coming from a much cooler home temperature. Air conditioning was available but seemed a shame to use this because of bedding options. Holiday makers from warmer countries would have had this problem I’m sure. The location is very handy to get around and in all honesty a car isn’t needed if you don’t mind walking, using excursions and the odd taxi for shopping. Whilst there we made use of Roy’s bikes to see the area on bicycle and frequent buffets at the China Royal. Can recommend both Would we holiday here again ? YES

Superb stay

We spent 3 relaxing weeks in this excellent villa on the outskirts of Playa Blanca, just a 30 minute direct drive from the airport. We were met on arrival by Barbara to hand us the keys and show us around this impressive property. From the large downstairs master bedroom, a further room with twin beds and an upstairs double bedroom with a large balcony. Wardrobe space in all rooms is huge. The kitchen/dining area is very large, with a further hob, oven and second microwave next to the large fridge freezer. There is a laundry room with iron and ironing board if required. Then outside to the fantastic and immaculate pool, heated enough to not take your breath away after relaxing on the choice of 10 loungers or relaxing in the shaded seating area. There is a covered outside BBQ area with bench and table seating and further table and chair sets further down the large and tidy garden. Cleaning and bedding/towel changes took place every Saturday, the ladies were very friendly and helpful. We had Barbara’s number in case of any issues, but never had to contact her as we had a no problems during our stay. Barbara is open to suggestions to any way she can improve the facilities or equipment in the villa, we had one or two minor suggestions which I am sure will be done before the next guests arrive. Playa Blanca itself is just a 15 minute walk from the house. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this property and hope to return very soon.
