Designed to look like a European castle on the interior, our underground LOTR retreat offers a luxe marble bath, granite kitchen, vintage art, tapestries, Portuguese tiles, round doors/window and antiques. You'll feel like royalty in the hand painted 1880s bed. Enjoy amenities like gas pizza oven, firepit, griddle, and outdoor clawfoot tubs

My wife and I stayed at the Riverview Hobbit House to celebrate our 17th wedding anniversary, and it was truly the perfect getaway. The house is beautifully unique, and the phenomenal attention to detail made it feel as though we had stepped into another world. Every part of the property added to its charm and character.We spent our days fishing, hiking, relaxing, and enjoying the beautiful views and peaceful serenity of the woods. During one hike, we managed to get lost for nearly two hours—but it became one of our favorite memories of the trip. Instead of worrying, we laughed, explored, and frolicked through the woods like a couple of teenagers.What made our stay so special was the opportunity to escape the noise and responsibilities of everyday life and simply enjoy being together as a couple. The quiet surroundings, natural beauty, and enchanting atmosphere gave us time to reconnect and celebrate our anniversary in a meaningful way.The Riverview Hobbit House is far more than a place to stay—it is a memorable experience. We left feeling refreshed, closer than ever, and grateful for the wonderful memories we made. We would absolutely recommend it to any couple looking for a peaceful, romantic, and one-of-a-kind escape.
