The Refuge serves as a winter feeding and resting area for waterfowl, and opportunities to view geese, bald eagles, songbirds, raptors, white-tailed deer, and wild turkey can be found in many areas of the Refuge. Points of interest, trails, auto tours, and viewing blinds have been developed throughout the Refuge to enhance wildlife encounters.
