The log cabin is great - cozy and well insulated, which was very useful during our stay, as the outside temperature dropped to nearly -25F, and we needed to keep the inside nearly 100 F warmer than the outside! And it's nicely situated, very close to the Methow Valley XC skiing trail.
The heating system was a little shaky though: the electric heaters did not work in one bedroom, and the gas fireplace, our main source of heat, had a broken thermostat and temperature regulation could only be done by turning it on and off manually.
The cabin keepers were very helpful, and answered our request for fixing these problems promptly. They even arrived to help us jump-start our car on the coldest morning, which was thankfully not needed - the call for help came from our neighbors and the keepers showed up at the wrong place.
