The back yard also has a large fire pit to roast smores or to just sit by the fire and share stories and make memories. Cottage on the Cove underwent a complete renovation in 2024 and is brand new. It has 2 bedrooms and 1.5 bathrooms. On the 1st floor there are two bedrooms, each with a queen bed, and a 3/4 bath as well as the washer/dryer. Upstairs is an open concept living room/kitchen & a half bath. There is a queen pull-out sofa bed in the living room. Off the dining room is the deck overlooking the Penobscot River. This house has brand new mini-splits throughout for both heating & cooling. One well-behaved dog welcome.

Guests will have access to the entire cottage as well as the deck, the BBQ grill, and the yard. Enjoy the large firepit in the middle of the yard. We provide with you a bundle of firewood to get you started.
It is contactless check-in. You will be given a unique door code prior to check-in that will be good for the use of your stay.
This cottage is located at the end of a long driveway, a considerable distance from the street and offers a peaceful and secluded atmosphere for you to unwind.
There are two private parking spots located right in front of the cottage.
The Penobscot River is notable for its strong tidal currents, which are swift and hazardous. The river is for viewing only, there is no direct water access due to the strong currents. Visitors can enjoy canoeing, kayaking, swimming and boating nearby.
There is a neighboring cottage. If you are interested in renting both cottages (can accommodate up to 12 guests) please reach out for more information.

One well-behaved dog welcome. Please make sure to clean up after your dog.
Please use the black towels to remove make-up (make-up will stain the white towels).
Please make sure to take trash to the enclosed trash bin by the parking area
Please let us know if you damage something or something isn’t working the way it should so we can fix it for the next guest.
