My husband and I stayed in this property over 40 days this summer. The location of the condo is great and the neighbors are wonderful. The property itself was a disappointment. I have stayed in many vacation homes over the years with this being the most poorly appointed home I have ever encountered. When we arrived, the home was clean, but the kitchen was very poorly stocked. They have installed new appliances and have new all-clad cookware, but the glassware was a collection of random glasses and there was not a complete set of silverware. Truly, the items lacking in the kitchen are too numerous to list. There were many other things wrong with the house, such as: threadbare sheets/towels, 1 bathmat for the entire house. A broken light in the primary bedroom closet, broken blinds, windows that don't open and close properly, overgrown landscaping, stained carpet. I did speak with the property manager who sent someone over to do a repair and to cut back the weeds. She offered to reimburse me for some of the items that I had to buy (glassware, silverware, sheets, etc), but since we had driven, I chose to just take them home with me. I understand that renters don't always take care of things as they should and items get broken or go missing, but the manager should be responsible to check that the home is being re-stocked to meet minimum standards. Until the owner reinvests in this home, I can't recommend that anyone stay here and certainly no one should plan an extended stay.
