We were visiting Winnipeg for a family reunion/birthday celebration. This is an amazing Loft in a totally renovated, circa 1910, 4-story brick warehouse. 2nd floor with elevator. The Loft itself is a designer’s dream. Newly renovated, decorated with a unique antique industrial feel, exposed brick walls, quiet, spacious, great kitchen and living area & large bathroom. No surprises here…it’s exactly as described. The neighborhood is relatively quiet with little traffic. One block walk to the Red River with a paved walking trail that will take you all the way to The Forks & the fabulous Canadian Museum for Human Rights. Restaurants, coffee shops & bars within easy walking distance. Private off-street parking space. Building is well secured. Host/owner, Martina, is lovely & more than helpful in getting you checked in, providing thorough explanation of the Loft, the neighborhood & places to eat and visit nearby. She is readily available to respond to any questions you may have during your stay. We will definitely try to stay in this Loft on all subsequent visits to Winnipeg… sure beats any hotel room in Winnipeg.
