「The new owners are working hard to refresh this historic property. The seaside location is a gem and the staff members are friendly and attentive (special shout-out to Julia). The full breakfast is a wonderful benefit, and my mahi-mahi dinner was absolutely delicious! An added bonus is the proximity to another excellent restaurant, as well as a scuba center for those who come to Statia to dive. Thanks to Peter and Jeanette and your amazing staff!」

「We had a great weekend in Saba. The owners were very nice and welcoming and the cottages were comfortable. Near lovely restaurants and shops, and close to the trails. Breakfast was great and pool refreshing. Only downside was the noise at night from neighborhood dogs barking and early roosters. We did not sleep well. 」

「Hemmie is one of the best hosts I’ve ever met! He made me feel so at home from day 1. I was on the island for an exam and Hemmie made my stay less stressful by serving delicious breakfast every morning and offering to give me free dinner. He even offered to drive me to and from school, which was a bonus! The place itself is just marvellous! All the antique furnitures made me feel like I was really on vacation. The view is also breathtaking! You go out to the balcony and you see the ocean along...

「We absolutely loved our week at Spyglass! The home has the feel of a traditional Saba cottage, with some of the BEST views in the Caribbean. We love this small island. 「Three of us came to Saba for the first time, for a diving vacation. We had a great time and Althea's Cottage worked out perfectly for us. The 2 bedrooms with bath were at opposite ends of the house, we had a kitchen with dining, a large living room sitting area and back yard patio area. We were able to use an outdoor clothesline daily for drying our diving attire.
