Lovely Stay

Our stay was very pleasant. The neighbourhood is beautiful. The house has enough room for all 8 of my family members and there was a lot to do around. Cynthia and her team were very responsive and even delivered extra garbage bags to the home when I couldn't find them.

Items need attention

While overall we had a good stay there were some issues that prompted the 3 star review. The listing shows this home as very glamorous when in reality it needs some TLC. Living room windows didnt lock. More thorough cleaning of downstairs bath was needed. Bedroom smoke alarm started chirping in the early morning hours. I see another review where this happened. Batteries should be replaced in all alarms. Written instructions for the home and checkout instructions would be helpful. and placed at the home is needed.

Wonderful in Every Way

Such a lovely stay for our Women’s Retreat. Beautiful home and neighborhood. Well appointed and labeled with everything you would need. Excellent communication. Picky women could not more highly recommend.

Wine country wedding

Stayed at this house for4 nights… in town for a niece’s wedding in Healdsburg. There were 8 adults and we had plenty of room… great location etc. Would recommend.

Golfing buddies

The house allowed for each of the golfing buddies to have their own rooms. Location was centrally located to enjoy 2 full days of golf in Windsor and Santa Rosa. Will definitely recommend to our friends and family.

Wonderful!!!

What a wonderful place to call home while on vacation!!!! Cynthia and staff are amazing and added so much to our stay. Make sure you experience the Barn tasting…it was the highlight of our trip. Property is exactly as described and the location is perfect.

Lovely clean home

This home is very clean and comfortable. Real plus is the 6 bedrooms. Good location, very close to shopping, restaurants and Starbucks. Nice neighborhood, felt very safe. I'm only giving it a 4 star rating because communication with the host was disappointing. It took 1 VRBO message and 1 phone call to receive our check-in instructions - 24 hours prior to check-in. Took 3 hours to fix a smoke detector beeping every 5 minutes. She also didn't respond to a message requesting reservations at their winery, so we missed the special wine tasting she was offering. Otherwise, we really enjoyed this home.

We will return!

Lovely home with just what we need - 5+ bedrooms! Quiet, residential neighborhood close to everything: parks, grocery shopping, Hwy 101. Do not miss the opportunity for a VIP wine tasting at the home owner's vineyard. We were blown away by the hospitality, amazing view from the winery's deck and delicious wines. This was an unexpected highlight of the weekend. We will return soon - it's close to where we live in SF Bay area but feels world's away with all the wine country has to offer.

Friends Retreat

This home is huge and had everything we needed. There were 6 of us women and we each had our own bedroom. We are a sewing group and we get together every year like this. There is some small scuffs on the walls that could use new paint but that did not take away from our trip. The home is beautiful and has a nice sitting area in the back yard. We would stay again. Great Space

We were able to bring together our family and spend a beautiful weekend in Windsor. The space was perfect, we had beds and private rooms for each couple. Close to many attractions. Highly recommend.

Bachelorette trip!

We stayed for a bachelorette trip with five women. The house was great, plenty of room, large kitchen for cooking and comfortable couch for hanging out chatting. Very close to all of the wineries we wanted to visit as well! Grocery store close by also.

Lots of space, very clean

The house is great and home owner very responsive. We enjoyed the home, however the weather got into the 90’s and there is no air conditioning. We did open windows and doors that helped with air flow. Overall a good experience

A lovely home in a great town to visit!

We enjoyed excellent communications with the owner's rep, and discovered a generously sized home with quality fixtures and furniture, a well-laid-out back yard for a grilled dinner, a FULLY-equipped kitchen with virtually every tool or utensil you can imagine, and generous provisions provided by the owners (a bottle of their own winery's wine, access the most complete and sophisticated spice cabinet I've ever seen in a rental, and a generous supply of excellent breakfast cereals. It was a lovely stay.

All we could have hoped for

My family (an under 1, two 3 year olds, an 8 and 11 year old and 6 adults) stayed at the house so we could all be together for an long wedding weekend. Great location, easy to run back and forth to the brides home and venue. House was clean and had lots of kitchen extras. Plenty of clean linens, extra blankets and space for everyone. The neighborhood was safe and parking ample for our family. Only issue we had for the upstairs bath worked as a shower for not a bath for the littles. Will check availability on this house when we visit the area again.

Great for families or larger groups!!

This house is conveniently located in the Russian River area of Northern California. Close to the beach and close to all the wine meccas. Lovely park for children to play and ride bikes. Kitchen is well stocked. Easy to do our own meals. 5 bedrooms!

Perfect for small family gathering

We spent a long weekend here for a family 'Girls Weekend.' We chose the house because it was reasonably priced, had bedrooms for each woman, and was located near some of the wineries we wanted to visit. The home was easy to get in and out of, very clean, and just what we were looking for. Only drawbacks are there were some minor maintenance issues, although all noted by the owners as 'to be fixed' and the TV was quite complicated for anyone over the age of 25 to operate (remote was an X-Box controller and there were no instructions on how to use it), and did not include any network TV channels (only Netflix streaming). Also worth noting, this is not the house for you if you're looking for a lavish back yard. There IS a back yard, but it is dirt/ weeds and a folding table and chairs. Not an issue for us, but worth noting for others who may be hoping for more outdoor space. :-) Overall, this home was as-advertised, and for the price, met our expectations. Thank you!

Great Location for a Sonoma Vacation

This property is large and centrally located in Sonoma county. It gave our family a great place to use as home base for day trips to San Francisco, Napa, and Bodega Bay.
