Disliked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication, location, listing accuracy
Many problems with this listing, first the fire alarm was low on battery, I had to physically climb to reach the smoke detector to detach and remove the battery, a sharp beeping noise went off every 90 seconds and we wouldn’t have been able to sleep without stopping it. There were no spare batteries to change. There were spiders everywhere. My friend used the shower and saw 11 of them moving around the ceiling. They were in the main bed and on the counter and sink as well. The tenant was nice enough to leave complimentary drinks ( vitamin water) but they had an expiration date year of 2023. They have a sauna that was featured in the listing but was extremely hard to find so we didn’t use it. We tried reaching out about the smoke detector the night of our arrival but didn’t get a response until the next morning. When I expressed these concerns to the tenant they apologized and said thanks we’ll make it better for the next guest, not addressing our frustration at all. Property was difficult to find and was nestled in between two abandoned looking buildings that were being used for hoarding, did not feel very safe.
