"The property was super busy with hockey teams, birthday parties etc and not staffed for it at all over the 3 days we were there. Food for breakfast was non existent as there were lines and people clearing out all the hot food within minutes and 30+ minutes to refill. The pool was over crowded and absolutely rowdy. Despite alerting staff to the teenagers running, jumping onto kids in the pool swimming, spraying water guns into peoples faces, nothing was done to resolve the issues. It was extremely dangerous and unfortunately we had to remove our children. The bathrooms in the pool area were also filthy. At night, children were running up and down the hallways, screaming and knocking on doors until after 11pm and it started back up by 7am. We had no sleep, had to go elsewhere for breakfast and swimming, felt like a waste of money. It's too bad they'll overbook the property and not bother to have enough staff. At checkout I wasn't even asked how my stay was, and when I attempted to notify the management of our disappointment before leaving a review, I was emailed a generic copy and pasted AI response that didn't even acknowledge what my initial email was. Clearly they don't care so we won't be back. "

"The hotel staff were very friendly. The beach is easily accessible — you can walk to it directly from the hotel’s backyard. If you’re planning a ski trip to Mount Washington, this is a great place to stay. It’s conveniently located not far from the resort and is very reasonably priced. "

"First time staying here and won’t be the last. Reception staff were friendly and helpful. Room was clean. We had a couple of issues crop up that were speedily handled. Felt like I was sleeping on a cloud. Very peaceful surroundings."

"We stayed here for a girls’ book club getaway (4 of us) and honestly, it was perfect. The house is so comfortable, beautifully designed, and absolutely spotless, truly one of the cleanest and most well-kept places we’ve ever stayed. Every space feels thoughtful and elevated, but still really cozy and easy to relax in. The ocean views from every bedroom are just unreal, such a treat to wake up to.We ended up spending most of our time at the house because it was just that nice. Coffee on the front patio, reading in all the cozy little spots inside, cooking family style meals in the gourmet kitchen, curled up for movies in the livingroom, long chats around the fire pit, and evenings in the hot tub. There are so many different spaces to hang out, and each one is just as inviting as the next.The bikes were such a fun bonus!! We rode down to the beach and over to the pub, which ended up being one of our favourite parts of the weekend.Everything was so well set up, we didn’t feel like anything was missing. Zero notes for David and Lynne, they’ve created such a special place.We already can’t wait for our next stay here. "
