"This apartment was clean and comfortable. The location was close to shops and restaurants. Volendam was an adorable town and we highly recommend the Volendam museum for local history. Bus stops and ferries were convenient for day trips to Amsterdam, Utrecht, Hoorn and Marken."

"Amazing place with an amazing host. The goats were really friendly. Great slice of life at this place. Would stay again. "

"We are a family of 4 from Canada, and this was such a lovely place to stay and explore the area including Amsterdam. It was very easy to hop in the train. The guesthouse was clean and very cutely decorated. Marcel was very accommodating and kind. We didn't have much time to visit him because we were so busy, but he checked in with us frequently. I would highly recommend a stay here."

"Clean but loud"

"Het inchecken verliep prima. Maar toen we de (schone) kamer inkwamen, was het alsof we een sauna inliepen. De zon had de hele dag vol in de kamer geschenen, dus het was er bloedheet. Er kon geen raam open en er was geen airco of ventilator. We moesten de koffers op de grond zetten, en konden geen kleding eruit halen omdat er geen kast aanwezig was. "Our experience at this "hotel" was mixed. The location was great, right in the old part of town, basically right on the water. The bed was okay, but not the best. The room was as advertised. There was a bit of noise at night from the pub, but this was noted in the listing. The Nespresso pods were nice in the morning. But there was no soap in the bathroom, and only one tiny garbage bin in the bathroom. Technically these things are not missing, but one assumes they don't need to bring soap...

"Mooie kamer, achter de Dijk. Niks op aan te merken"

"cClean, modern and in great cozy condition. We enjoyed a lot and would come back again."

"We enjoyed our stay in this beautiful holiday apartment. Nothing was missing – from spices and tea to toilet paper and a hairdryer, as well as the cozy outdoor seating area and toys for the little guests. It was clear that every detail had been carefully considered. A special thank you goes to Chantal, who took such wonderful care of us with her warm and friendly manner and was always helpful whenever we needed anything. You can truly feel how much love and attention has gone into this holiday...
