Perched high above the Sequatchie Valley in Chattanooga Tennessee, our beautiful Log Cabin in the Clouds is more than just a rental—it’s a legacy. Built with care and vision, this rustic yet timeless cabin has welcomed guests from near and far who come seeking both adventure and serenity.
Every sunrise paints the mountains in golden light, and every sunset melts into the
valley below, creating a backdrop that visitors never forget. Guests consistently rave
about the breathtaking views and peaceful atmosphere, earning this retreat so many 5- Star Reviews along with repeat customers that we take pride in welcoming back year after year!

Avoid the Crowds at your own beautiful cabin with a spectacular view! With so many beautiful hiking trails, waterfalls, and free things to do, you have the option to get away from the crowds while still being able to visit all the wonderful attractions and restaurants in the Scenic City of Chattanooga. Our cabin is the perfect place for your romantic vacation or just an exciting getaway! Enjoy the fresh air, Hot Tub, 3-D TV, beautiful sunsets, playing board games, relaxing in the hot tub, or roasting marshmallows by the fire pit. See why our guests say that the pictures simply don't do it justice! We have also just completed many wonderful upgrades including a brand new Heating and Air unit, water heater, new carpet in the bedroom, along with everything you need to make your stay comfortable and secure! We take great care and pride in making sure our cabin is aired out, cleaned, and sanitized. Our cabin is located on the timeline separating Central and Eastern time so we reference Eastern time for check in and out.
Our check in times are 4:00 Eastern time and check out is 11:00 Eastern time. The clocks in the cabin are set for Eastern time.

We loved the location and the view. Only suggestion we have is to upgrade to a tankless water heater. We ran out of hot water after one shower and it took a long time for the water to warm up again.

We had an excellent stay at the log cabin in the clouds. We were a couple visiting for our wedding anniversary. The cabin is very cozy and was in good, clean condition. The host was easy to communicate with including by text. The cabin is only about a 20 minute drive into Chattanooga, where you can find ample restaurants and things to do. We also enjoyed the many nearby hiking trails. The view really is amazing. The sunset is fantastic, but even the view on a nice clear day is something to see. Five stars, would love to visit again.

This was just what we needed. I surprised my hubby with a short stay and "us" time away from the kids. We enjoyed every bit of it. The host was very communicative and friendly. They even provided a few free things to do for ideas. One suggestion I do have is maybe add a fan in the bedroom (my husband like circulating air, ha!) But it wasn't a big issue. The views are amazing! Somethings to note for guests:1. If you have multiple people the hot water tank is small. Don't expect to take really long showers. And make sure you plan to space oyt shower times. - wasn't an issue for us teo but we didn't have the kids with us.2. If you want to use the fireplace, bring wood. We got some and loved the mood setting of the fire.3. Make sure to take a break from the electronics and enjoy the view! Very peaceful.4. Enjoy the company you have with you! Thanks again!

Once again the Log Cabin in the Clouds did not disappoint. This is the most beautiful place to just push pause and unwind. Our host was very communicative and even had some surprises for us upon our arrival. We will be back again!!

I absolutely know why this cabin has five stars! The host, Captain Kerry, was the most hospitable, kind host. He was so easy to communicate with at all times. The house is perfect! The view is absolutely beautiful!

We reserved this cabin for our 30th wedding anniversary and my 60th birthday (which were both in the same week). This cabin did NOT disappoint! It was clean, organized and had everything we needed. The view of the valley down below is awesome. We would highly recommend this cabin for couples or a small family. There's restaurant about 15 minutes away called River Drifters. We highly recommend eating there also. The food was great and you definitely get your monies worth.

The cabin was perfect! It was very clean and the bed was comfortable. The views from the deck were spectacular. I enjoyed watching the beautiful sunsets while sipping on a glass of wine. Couldn’t have asked for anything more relaxing. Kerry, the property manager was great to talk to, and his recommendations were very helpful. We will definitely be back.

We were only here a few nights and usually do a weekend cabin trip like this at least once per year. Compared to previous experiences and other options in this price range, we were rather disappointed. After a day of traveling, the check in process required two separate 10-40min phone calls with the property manager to provide details for their expectations of us. Everything discussed on the call was also written in the instructions book in the cabin, so this felt extremely unnecessary. Couple this with a comment from the owner about “tracking us down if we don’t call when we got to the cabin”, and negative comments about the previous guests, we were questioning if we were being watched or if he would show up unannounced. As previous reviews have stated, the cleanliness was not up to standards as we found bugs in both the kitchen and bedroom, and the kitchen seemed to have a garbage smell even though the garbage had been taken out prior to our arrival. Unfortunately the owner also admitted to not being able to clean the hot tub as well as they would have liked too, so we hardly used it. We liked the location, and if a few changes were made to enhance the guest experience, then we could have easily given a 5star review.
