"The guy at the front desk was super nice and helpful. The disappointment comes with the pool. I booked this hotel specifically because it had a pool. I arrived and there was a note at the front desk that it was closed and if that bothered us we could get a full refund. The thing is, I just drove a few hrs, it was getting late and had my kids with me after a long day of work...not finding a new hotel last minute. Also, when we got into our room it smelled like smoke really bad. We left our bathroom vent on and it got a little better, but really wasn't super happy about it. "

"The heater is set to never go above 74, if you use the thermostat to set it to 78 the fan goes on but the room never heats up. I had to sleep in pants and a sweater. All rooms are this way, booked here about 5 times because its the best location for me but at this point I'm fed up being cold. The room service just barged in an hour before checkout while I was putting my pants on. "

"I chose this business for a short stay based on previous reviews. I am not sure what people considered clean, but that was not what I found. The floors were dirty, and most of the surfaces in the room appeared to be cleaned with dirty rags. The sheets and pillows had burns and spots on them. The refrigerator was dirty. I asked for a room change, but I found the exact same issues in the second room. I took photos but the camera did not highlight the problems. I was promised a refund (pending), and I booked another hotel. "
