White Rapid Glamping is a riverfront oasis along a roaring bend in the Juniata River. There are rocks to fish from and explore when river conditions allow. In the evening, a toasty campfire, a cold one and you in an Adirondack complete the setting.
It is a carry-in/carry-out site and bring your own firewood. We do provide pool towels and fire starter.
There's an awning on the camper to provide more shade. Walking inside, you'll enter the living/dining/kitchen area and pretty much what you'd expect for the interior of a camper. There is heating and cooling available to keep our guests comfortable.
🥱🥱 BEDROOMS ** All linens are provided. 🥱 Queen bedroom with storage closets and a box fan. 🥱Bunk room with 4 twin beds. Two of the beds are under 27" wide.
🍳🍳 KITCHEN **Paper Towels, Tea Towels, Dish Rags Fully stocked with pots and pans, Keurig coffee maker, K-cups and coffee grounds, propane oven with 3 burners, small refrigerator/freezer, mixing bowls, cutting boards, toaster and dinnerware.
🧻🧻 BATHROOM Gravity-flush toilet and a bathtub with handheld shower sprayer. Bath linens and soaps are provided.
🏞️ 🏞️ EXTERIOR The space is private. You are sharing a campground with seasonal tenants, so you'll see some activity, but not as much as a normal campground.
The fire ring sits right above the river and is set up to cook food on, if you wish. String lights add ambience — or can disturb your peace, depending which way you look at it. 😉 There's a picnic table to enjoy meals outside, and the camper also has outdoor lights.
Tubes are provided for our guests to enjoy the river — use safely and at your own risk, and please return them when you're finished. This really is a riverside oasis and words can't quite do it justice.
➡➡A FEW THINGS TO KNOW ➡ It is camping. You may see spiders, bugs, mice and other wildlife around the property. We do our best and do what we can, but this is a rural space and, no matter what, it is still camping. ➡ No parties or loud music, out of respect for the other people in the campground. ➡ Available seasonally May–September.
