Overall, the home met our needs. However, we found the description of the ski access section of the home to be very misleading. The main reason we chose this property was because it was advertised as offering "quick access to Lower Olympic run on Whistler Mountain" and the ability to "walk or slide up a slightly inclined trail located just outside the complex". You cannot "slide" up the "slightly inclined" trail, nor is the trail "slightly inclined". It is very inclined. I would say it was a hike to where the ski run was located. In addition, you needed to climb over a snow barrier to access the ski trail. So after walking up a very inclined hill for five minutes, you needed to climb over a barrier to access the run. We tried to "ski out" on our first day, and it did not go well. We ended up walking with our skis to the gondola area for our remaining ski days because it was next to impossible to "ski out". The walk to the gondola entailed walking across the back of the Westin property and down three flights of stairs on the Westin property. We also had to walk back with our skiis at the end of every day, which entailed walking up the three flights of stairs on the Westin property. While the property was nice, we found the ski access section to be misleading and we would not have booked this property if we had been provided an accurate description of the ski access.
