"No breakfast included but the night we stayed the fire alarms went off due to tech issues, not once but 3x. That was a real treat. lol So in the am the hotel staff had left a nice note under our door apologizing and sharing that they had complimentary coffee and pastries in the lobby for us and they waived our parking fee. So that was a nice way to say sorry for the not so great sleep. We only live an hour away from this hotel, but stayed so we could enjoy a night out. We were able to walk downtown in about 10 ish minutes and walk back. So a nice central location. Next time, this time of year, I will bring my skates to enjoy the outdoor rink just down the street from the hotel. Overall the staff, room, pool, hottubs, cleanliness, location was super!! I highly recommend this hotel. "

"Had an early morning flight so did not have breakfast. We were upgraded to a suite- it was wonderful! Bed was so comfortable! The staff were extremely friendly and efficient!"

"Beautiful and peaceful location. Perfect for a weekend gateway for two any time of the year or for a long summer family vacation. The accommodation was just as promised and actually surpassed our expectations. Very roomy and lots of facilities available for use. "Communication with the Host was poor. 8 to 24 hours till we would receive a reply. Questions were not answered in a timely fashion, and there was no manual available for the house. For example, no instructions on how to turn on a fireplac. We were told a pool and hot tub were available, but when we got there, we found out it was closed. We asked the host why it wasn’t open and she redirected us to a pool and hot tub at the top of the hill that we were not told about. This was 12 hours after we asked the question. Prior to this I had asked several times if all the amenities were available and did not receive a reply. Also as a VRBO guest, we were not allowed to use the fitness facility and we were told that is only for owners.Also, the cleaning fee was over 250 for two nights, and we had to take our own garbage a kilometre up the hill to the disposal site. I would expect for that sort of fee that would be part of the cleaning fee. The property itself was very nice, and well kept. But I would not book here again based on the poor service from the host. There are plenty of other properties to choose from. "
