Was quite the room was very small with a tiny shower for the price we paid was not impressed no cooked breakfast only toast and cereal

Entered the bar to be glared at by the locals drinking there, like something out of 'deliverance'. Person on reception had no record of my booking and l had to show her the email before she would believe me.likewise it was hard to convince her that l had paid in advance. No running hot water in bathroom, bedside/reading lamp on one side of double bed only, and that not working. No sign of any guest WiFi. Continental breakfast in the morning very basic. Would not go back

The walls and bedding were not perfectly clean. The shower cabin is in the middle of the room, with a glass door through which the roommates can see. That was very strange. But the location is very good, the staff is helpful, I liked the building.

Lovely bar, good price for drinks, friendly staff, comfy clean rooms, had a brilliant night sleep, owner Dave is lovely and his grandson James is lovely too. Would stay again.

4 day break.
Best way to describe the staff is it was like visiting old friends, so friendly and genuine, happy to help with anything. The hotol was lovely and what i would call traditional, excellent location and if you wanted to visit Weymouth you could park the car and get everywhere on foot within 10-20 minutes from the hotel, but also a short drive to Durdle door, Lulworth cove and monkey world, all worth a visit.

Good value accommodation, friendly staff
The room was good value, clean and comfortable. Staff friendly and hospitable. Location very good. Stayed for one night, good base for exploring Weymouth. Would stay there again.

Very welcoming and helpful staff. Spotlessly clean room with Comfy bed and nice continental breakfast. Within easy walking distance to the beach front and shops.

The bed appeared to be clean. The toilet and shower were really small. The electrics and plumbing were suspect, I would not have been happy to have a child in the room. The 'continental' breakfast was sliced bread, cereals and yoghurt. I even had to boil the kettle and find a teapot for my morning cuppa. There were not enough seats for the people wanting breakfast Health and safety inspectors would have a field day here
