This Pine Island home is absolutely amazing! The home is cozy with large pine planked boards on the floor. The ceiling in most of the home is very high. It is nestled in a private area of the pond which allows for complete privacy. The lake is pure glass. My spouse enjoyed exploring the lake on the kayak and canoe provided. We had a great time!
From the minute we walked it to the beautiful home at 16 Pine Island Lake we were just in awe!it truly was an amazing home!
Then we looked at the view and we’re once again floored… just perfect!
Prior to our arrival, I was in touch with Neil the property manager who was super kind, courteous and helpful. He provided us with up to the minute, detailed texts on the ins and outs of getting to the spot etc.
we cannot wait to go back!
Our two weeks on the lake were filled with swimming, kayaking, hammock napping and eating. My daughter and I hosted guests and day trippers, almost filling the bunkhouse! The house itself is pristine, tastefully appointed and well stocked, from towels to firewood. A welcome basket from a local bakery awaited us. Our dogs were happy, too! The lake is perfect - the only sounds you can hear are happy kayakers and rowers talking to each other, and the mallard ducks quacking. A very serene and lovely vacation. We rarely left the premises, but there is lots to do within a short drive.
Our celebration party had a great stay in this beautiful home in Westhampton. Everything was clean and ready for us when we arrived with advance communication from host Neil to help with driving directions. The WiFi password is posted on the entry-way board. The post and beam construction is gorgeous and we appreciated the print documenting the process hanging in the entry way.
We pre-arranged with Evolve to bring our dog with us and she loved running around the backyard and took her kayaking.
The kitchen has everything you would need and plenty of flatware and tableware. We took advantage of the multiple refrigerators available.
There were copious amount of towels for showers. We weren’t sure how we would do with 1.5 bathrooms for 9 of us but it wasn’t an issue at all. They are both good-sized with stone floors.
The bedrooms are comfortable with ceiling fans, lots of windows and skylights to see the stars.
We were able to take advantage of the lake and swam and kayaked, hung out on the hammocks, ate out on the large screened-in porch and used the fire-pit (we brought our own wood just in case) and grill. We hiked some nearby trails as well.
We never left the house for our long weekend, bringing all of our food in. Within 20ish minutes (if you’re not driving behind a tractor) you can be in Easthampton with cafes and restaurants but there is nothing really nearby the house.
Overall it was a wonderful stay for us as we celebrated our friend!
What a lovely place! Spacious and comfortable. The kitchen had everything you'd need. The living space and bedrooms were very comfortable. If it had been warmer we would have spent so much time in the screened in porch! It was a bit of a drive to shopping and restaurants. 20-30 minutes to Easthampton or Northampton. But not a big deal for us.
This was our second time at the Sullivans' cabin. It is a wonderful property with beautiful lake views and a huge screened porch. The kitchen is well equipped and there are tons of fluffy towels. It's a great spot if all you want to do is relax, swim and kayak. Northampton is 20 minutes away if you need good restaurants or nightlife.
Perfect spot to convene with our college and high school aged kids. Well equipped and spacious house for to reconnect and hang out. Beautiful spot on a quiet and very private-feeling lake. Everyone had flexibility to get to what they needed to do during the day and then socialize, hang-out, relax, etc. Highly recommend. Owners were responsive any time we had a question. Would love to spend more time at this property once the weather is warm enough to really enjoy the lake! Thank you!
