Picturesque and serene lakefront property with 50 acres of tree lined walking paths. Eagles nest nearby, so you will frequently see them flying the coast of the lake.
If your feeling adventurous, we have kayaks available for calm days on the lake. We have two ponds where you can feed the fish. Our home is newly renovated with a sensational back porch with propane fire pit. Also wood provided lakeside fire pit on the property for group gatherings and star-gazing to close your day. Though our property is "on" Lake Erie, you cannot see the lake from the porch because of woods. That is why we have paths to the meadows and lake access for day and evening delight.
Just imagine yourself watching amazing sunsets on Lake Erie with a glass of local wine with someone you love.

Beautiful property
The house and grounds are absolutely beautiful. The setting is rural and quiet, and the large deck on the back of the house is a wonderful gathering space for family and friends. The kitchen was well appointed with everything that we needed, and the decor throughout the house was pleasing.

Dirty VRBO, Inaccurate inside listing. Outside property is beautiful.
After we had already booked this VRBO,we were notified by the host that the property hadn't been cleaned for quite sometime. We were to ignore the dust, etc.. We were on a trip, with a service dog, and myself with disabilities, we THOUGHT this property met our requirements.ALL 1 LEVEL LIVING & an outside area for all of us to enjoy. Upon arriving, there was more than dust to ignore. Bugs, Spiders and Mouse droppings were throughout the VRBO. We tried to find another place to stay but due to my disability, the B&B's all had stairs so we had to stay here. There are no nice hotels in the area. The inaccuracy in the VRBO listing has to do with the jetted tub.Nowhere in the listing does it say it's in the basement, down a full flight of stairs. This was inaccessible to me. This really should be marked in the listing, as I was looking forward to using it but could not. There weren't any trash bags to take out our garbage or dish soap to wash dishes. I contacted the host about this and was told verbatim to be GRATEFUL for toilet paper! As worldwide travelers and staying in many kinds of places & countries, we were disappointed in this VRBO & It's Host. They weren't ready for guests. We Unfortunately also didn't have hot water until the morning we left and the internet only worked for 1 night. So NO TV or WIFI tried rebooting the modem and that worked only for 30 minutes. The outside property was beautiful just very muddy & swampy. The property wasn't even ready for us!

Perfect Getaway

Beautiful lake views
This was a great place to stay. The back porch was so nice to put your feet up and relax. The lake views are gorgeous. we look forward to returning and exploring the wineries.

❣️ Beautiful setting!
Overall impressive! Great space on patio, roomy enough for the 6 of us, even had guests stop by and was still comfortable. Easy access to wineries, town, and lake. Hosts were helpful and quick to answer any questions we had. Definitely would recommend and hope to stay there again!

August 2023 Vacation
We were looking for a home to rent along Lake Erie for a family get together. Unfortunately, our son was unable to attend so my husband and I had a great vacation with our dog. The house was very clean and what we expected. Loved the trails and the wide open space where our dog could explore. We tried many restaurants in the area and even took a tour on the Chautegua Belle. It was very cold and we should have prepared better. Would recommend a heavy coat if you decide to take a tour. Visited the wineries and brought home some delicious wine. Found a little roadside stand selling Amish baked goods and of course we had to stop. Bought cinnamon rolls and cookies. Love Amish baked goods. Would definitely stay here again if we're in the area. Thank you for allowing us to spend time in your beautiful home.

Cleanest house I have ever rented. Land was amazing, my husband went on runs while the kids and I played in the golf cart. We spent the day out a d about and nights by the cliffs watching the sun set.

Great family vacation
This was an awesome family vacation rental. We had plenty to do on the property and we had our own little beach cove. It was perfect in every way, just wish we would of beought our dog along as she would of loved it.
