「Mostly clean but outdated. Grout was dirty in bathroom just due to being old. Beds were clean. I have a service animal, walked in and said I was there to check in. Lady at the front says, “well I can’t because you have a pet” very rudely. I explained that she was a service animal. Lady next to her asks again, “she’s not an emotional support animal?” No she isn’t. She is certified, trained and I don’t need to have someone shaming me for this. They need some customer service training here. ...

「A very old fashioned hotel. Howard Johnson is a legendary brand. This hotels infrastructure is somewhat dated, but the rooms were 5Star Clean, and the beds were super comfortable and well made. AC was cold, shower had great pressure and very hot, soft clean towels! Absolute steal and I will stay here anytime I am heading to Gothenburg.」

「was a bit disappointed. we had two adjoining rooms which was amazing to get, but someone had clearly smoked in one room previously. they did move us and staff were amazing, but the second room was quite musty and the original second room smelled smokier over the course of the evening. Was fine and was safe (travelling with children), breakfast was great, and staff were amazing. but I would probably try a different location to avoid the smokiness. Rooms were ok but need some upkeep and cleaning...

「This is the filthiest hotel I've ever stayed at. I don't know when the pictures were taken but it looks nothing like it shows in them. They had bugs floating in the hot tub (which the jets didn't work) and the room was disgusting with stains all over the walls and doors. I wouldn't even try the breakfast given the way the rest of the property looked. I will never stay here again. I was quoted by the reservation line that the pet fee was $15 but was charged $18???」

「We were informed in almost unintelligible English that they did not have a room available when we arrived and the desk clerk was either unable or unwilling to articulate what we would have to do in order to get a refund. Even though not having a room was definitely not a good thing, a positive element was that the place looked so sketchy we were almost glad we couldn't stay there.」

「Very pleasant stay. They are still working on renovations but the way they have done is so simple and clean. They provided very nice wide variety breakfast. We recommend this place and hope they get more business to keep it up. 」
