Wonderful winter cabin
We stayed with our kids ages 3, 5, &8 the first week in January as a winter getaway to see snow. The cabin was Perfect for our family! Communication was friendly and thorough. The home was cozy and welcoming. It truly felt like staying at a friends home. The kitchen was supplied with all the cooking utensils needed to make our meals, and even disposables like plates, silverware, and paper towels. The bathrooms were well stocked with shampoo, conditioner, and fluffy towels. The entire downstairs was a kids haven. They had toys, a bunk bed fort, large TV, and separate bathrooms for boys and girls. Outside was additional play area with sand box, basketball hoop, climbing rings, and tons of land to explore and sled in the snow. The views from the house were breathtaking! The town of Westcliffe was a 5-10 min drive, and had all the essentials we needed. Monarch mountain was about 1.5 hour away for skiing and tubing adventure. This was by far the Best VRBO we’ve stayed at and we’re so grateful for the memories we were able to make with our family!

We stayed at this lovely house with an incredible view while we planned a hike up a 14er. The interior was very nice and functional for 5 of us. Communication was almost immediate. The owners were very accommodating. I would definitely stay here again.

Lovely unique spot for fun with the kids
Came up for the perseids hoping to catch a ton of shooting stars. Though the weather didn't cooperate, we had lovely sunrises/sunsets and did sneak in some spectacular views in the middle of the night, creating memories for our three kiddos. Hosts Rachel and Braughn were extremely welcoming and the place was perfect for kids. Lots of toys, books and fun out back. Views were spectacular. Close to town but still felt like we had the world to ourselves. Pack good hiking boots as the terrain is pretty full of yucca and cacti. Thanks for a great time!

Great stay in Westcliffe
Our family of five had a great stay at this property! The place is beautiful and well stocked, well-represented in the listed description, owners very responsive, setting amazing with mountains all around. Enjoyed gorgeous sunsets on the porch and exploring the property and area.

PERFECT in every way
My wife and I had an absolutely delightful experience during our recent stay at this VRBO property on a Wednesday evening. This house is a true gem, radiating with beauty and surrounded by awe-inspiring views. One of the standout features of this location is its status as a dark-sky community, which provided us with the incredible opportunity to witness the Milky Way and an abundance of twinkling stars - an experience that left us utterly amazed. However, what truly elevated our stay was the warmth and hospitality extended to us by the owners. They went above and beyond to make us feel right at home, and their kindness and genuine care for their guests were evident throughout our visit. In summary, we cannot recommend this VRBO property highly enough. It's a place where natural beauty meets exceptional hospitality, and it left a lasting impression on us. Beautiful Views, Amazing Property
The property was amazing! Very kid friendly with lots to do even in the winter with all the snow. We played inside with toys, books and games. We played outside on the jungle gym, swing set. We took a walk and we’re able to use the stroller and bikes. It was amazing to be a little removed from the city but close enough to run in and quickly grab some groceries. The house is beautiful with an amazing outside deck to sit and view the stars in the dark skies. It also overlooked the mountains and was amazing to watch the sunrise/sunset. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay. The property owners were so kind and accommodating as well! We look forward to our next stay out there!
