The service was exceptional. It was not good weather during our stay, but the indoor pool and all the activities around the property kept us busy. Breakfast buffet was great!

The rooms smelled of mildew. The battery in the fire alarms needed to be changed at 2:00 in the morning. The front desk staff kept messing up with check in and check out. They tried to bill my credit card multiple times for one one stay beginning at 2am. This created a suspicious activity call from the fraud protection department. My card was locked until I could reach someone to explain the issue. DO NOT STAY HERE!

It was not a good property. The room was extremely dated, but the worst part was the musty smell that followed us home on our clothing. The bathroom had hair in the bathtub and toilet paper pieces (small) on the floor. There was a collection of dirt in the bathroom corners. The air conditioner made a horrible noise and smell. Never again! Expedia should not be engaged with this property! I have stayed in many of theirs and this does not meet their standard per my experiences prior.

We had such a wonderful stay at Sunbird Cape Cod Resort! The kids absolutely loved the playground and all the outdoor games and activities — there was always something fun to do for the whole family. The breakfast was also surprisingly delicious with so many great options to start the day. The atmosphere was relaxing, family-friendly, and perfect for a Cape Cod getaway. We will definitely be coming back again!

I was very disappointed that when you look at the photos on the website you see the beach front, restaurants, and it's made to appear that it is either on the property or directly from the property. No restaurant on the property and no beach access. Very misleading. I was told at the front desk when I asked about it I was told, "What you saw was your interpretation of the amenities. Need to read all the documentation. I asked to speak to the manager who was very nice. She walked us to one room and when she opened the door it was so musty smelling so we immediately said we could not stay there. We were given another room that was not as bad. Fortunately there is a window in the room that you can open and I brought my essential oil diffuser. My sister who was with me has asthma. We will not be going back next year! Most of the staff were very pleasant and kind.

Staff is welcoming and helpful. Breakfast was great every day, dining area well maintained. Rooms need some serious work, they are very outdated and poorly maintained, although clean enough. Bring your own pillow if you plan to stay, beds are uncomfortable. Back ache every morning. They are trying to improve the outside and there are fun activities with equipment provided.

Our staff interactions were exceptionally pleasant. The breakfast was a pleasant surprise in that it was advertised as “continental”. The room was spotless and spacious. There are plenty of dining options close by. The only down thing worth mentioning was there was no channel guide for the TV, but I’m sure I could’ve gotten one that I asked. It was a very quiet property the weekend we stayed, but that will probably change as you get further into the season.

Overall not a bad stay. Room had a funky smell that was rather strong. Went to front desk to see if they had any air freshener, they said no it was to early in the season? The other thing upon our arrival it took over 15 minutes for the front desk person to check us in, the reason he was on his cell phone which what sounded like a personal call as we just stood there waiting!! The price was good, location is great, breakfast is a great deal, indoor and outdoor pool nice.
