Charming fully renovated home near PURDUE

Country charm only 2.5 miles from Purdue University. Get to campus quickly while enjoying the peaceful setting across from Fort Ouiatenon. Walking trail, bicycling routes, and boat ramp located within steps! Quaint 3 bed, 2 bath home fully remodeled in Spring of 2022. Convenient to Purdue & downtown Lafayette. Each bedroom has a smart TV. Musical instruments included in living room in addition to smart TV for your entertainment. Enjoy overlooking Fort Ouiatenon from front porch rocking chairs.

3 tastefully decorated bedrooms and 1 bathroom with rain head shower upstairs, 1 bathroom on the main level with a gorgeous clawfoot tub.

Entire home

Directly across from Fort Ouiatenon public park and the Wabash River. Public ramp for small boat, kayaks, paddle boards, canoes, etc.

2 parking spaces at the top of the driveway on level surface. 2-3 additional cars can fit in single lane driveway (steep incline). No parking on grass.

Home renovation completed May 2022. Yard and landscaping in progress. As seen in pictures, this property is in a wooded area. House is treated regularly by licensed pest control company but bugs/pests may occur.

-Dogs allowed - limit 2 per reservation - $150 non refundable fee due upon booking. Please keep pets on main level, off of furniture, and placed in mud room if left unattended. Food and water bowls will be provided.

-Price Listed for 6 people, 2 additional people can be booked for $50/night PER PERSON. MAX 8 people.
-Exterior security cameras at each entrance on premises for monitoring.

Two Parking Spaces on level ground, additional parking on driveway at in incline.
Please no parking in the grass.

Wonderful Property

We really enjoyed our stay at this lovely and cozy home in Lafayette near Purdue. We were in town for a wedding, and were traveling with our pup. The home was very clean and the kitchen was great and well-stocked for allowing us to be able to cook some of our meals. The park across the street was really great for being able to take our dog out too! The property owners were very easy to communicate with and responded quickly. Highly recommend this property!

Girls getaway

We loved our stay at Sandy Hill Cottage! It provided very comfortable (beds were great!) accommodations for myself, four daughters and one 7 month old grandson. It was very well equipped as we cooked all our own meals there. The location is super close to West Lafayette and/or Lafayette for coffee or fun shops. We enjoyed some nice walks across the road at Ft Ouiatenon. The property manager was very prompt when we had a couple minor questions. The only minor disappointment was that the road in front of the home is very travelled and noisy if trying to sit on the porch. It was quiet in the house tho. Really enjoyed it!!

We loved the house, it was very nice. The kitchen is well stocked with dishes and utensils you would need. There’s a crock pot and a regular coffee maker. The beds are comfy and the closets are huge. We loved the renovation that was done. The front porch, even in August, had a nice breeze because of its height and the rocking chairs are so great we plan to buy some for our porch at home. Plenty of room and convenience for your four legged travel buddy. The park across the road was great for taking walks. They had fun games to play and the music area was a big hit. The hosts were very responsive with any questions. It’s also very convenient to the Purdue campus. Thank you so much!

Loved the location and how serene and quiet. Surrounded by trees and green, the front porch was perfect. Nicely remodeled just like the pictures. Had all the necessary items to relax and entertain. Loved our stay!!!

The house was very clean and fit the pictures and description perfectly. Less than 10 minutes from Purdue, in a very scenic environment. The host was responsive and got back to us quickly. I would be happy to stay here again.

Great Visit

I actually lived in this home over 25 years ago. It was great to come to town for a visit and return "home"! The house is beautifully updated, but still has the same charm. It's a great house and a convenient location. Great option for a family or small group.

Purdue Family Weekend!

We stayed for a long weekend during Family weekend. The house was a great place to gather and celebrate my daughters white coat ceremony at Purdue. Will def be back with family.

Everything about this property was great. The hosts were organized and provided every piece of information we may need. We had no issues the entire time. The place was also clean and super nice overall. Would definitely stay here and recommend any of their properties.
