The place was clean and comfortable. It was exactly what we were looking for and we intend to stay there again.

The cottage was perfect. I was skeptical that the heater was not gonna be enough, but there was extreme, extreme cold weather lower than normal and found blocking the laundry room off with a blanket actually helped. Keep the bedroom and the rest of the house nice and cozy. I absolutely loved my stay there and I would totally recommend it to anyone.!!! very quiet and the deer visit the neighbors house every evening had everything you need in the kitchen and loved that there was a grill on the front porch and I actually used it as well!! five stars from me very fast response time and good communication from the owner or management
This is an excellent cabin with plenty space for a couple. I was concerned it might be cold but it was nice and toasty. The water was hot. Everything was there that was needed to cook. Was able to wash clothes which is a plus. It snowed the first night and there were lots of deer right outside our cabin. I felt like I was in a Hallmark movie.
The house was clean overall. Much larger than we anticipated and we were both satisfied with our stay. The grill and fire pit were both great additions. The PDF our host supplied was helpful for finding things to do in the area. My only complaints are that there was mold on the fridge door seal and the handle to the main entryway door fell off. The screw that holds the handle came loose on our first night. We fixed it and it stayed for the rest of our stay.

Was a great couple months during winter. Had what we needed. Was cozy and the wildlife around was great to watch daily. Would book again. On negative temperature nights it got a little chilly but was sufficient. Driveway during snow was tough but all in all very happy with Eagles Peak Cottage!!
A great small cabin to stay at for the price! They have a fully stocked kitchen with pans and dinnerware. Great location, just minutes from the river! This cabin is more secluded than many of the other properties. Also, if you have any questions, the owner is very prompt to answer! Would stay here again next year.
The floors needed swept and disinfected but other than that it was pretty clean. No firewood available. I would rather pay a little bit more and sleep on a nicer bed with nicer sheets and have a cleaner cabin. Charge an extra 30 for night and get the yard cleaned up clean out the gutters put a new mattress in and clean the cabin in between stays.
We had an amazing stay at Eagle's Peak Cottage. My husband and our 2 dogs did a 4 day, 3 night kayaking trip on the Allegheny River. After 2 nights of island camping, this was the perfect place to shower and relax before heading back out dor our final trip. Really close to the boat launch and a restaurant thay serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Really clean and had everything, soap, shampoo, conditioner, laundry products, etc. We would love to come back next year!
cabin was very cute and clean and had nice character. hosts were very responsive to my messages. we enjoyed the new AC, grill, and Keurig coffee machine. The surrounding area had great hiking spots. would stay again :)
It was a good experience.would have liked some more pots and pans to cook..faucet handle lin shower needs attentiono.one air conditioner not working properly..But overall enjoyed ourselves and all of the peace and quiet..ty
The entire process was easy. The area was so calm and relaxed. The house had just enough of everything we needed. We had a large dog, there was no problem with it. We had deer in our yard!!
This was a very nice cottage , the little signs & pictures throughout were fun to read. There were 2 things that i would like to change if we came back is #1, there were no curtains except for the bathroom and bedroom # 2 we were going to have a fire but the grass was a little too high around the pit!
Beautiful home look forward to our next visitHad our youngest grandson with us and would’ve nice if kitchen was baby proofed. Also if you do a lot of cooking need to bring some cooking tools with you. We made do with what is there so worked out fine.

Technically only a 1-bedroom house
The second bedroom was actually just a bed that was in a detached garage. Complete with a roll up garage door and items stored in there. We opted to sleep on the recliner. The house itself was awesome, but the lot was a bit unkept. LOVE the restaurant down the street. Ate there 3 times.

Property was not taken care of. Grass was a foot tall. Bedroom with bunk bed was not disclosed as being out in the garage, with spider webs and other bugs. No blinds/curtains in the living room area windows.

Nice BUT HOT!!
The stay was for 3 nights. Our daughter was coming to visit so the location was perfect. But the description was a bit deceiving since the rental is located in a neighborhood instead of in the middle of a forest as suggested. We were in the middle of a heat wave (average temp 93) with NO air conditioning! The grass was knee high and was being cut as our group arrived. The bunk house is a glorified garage with a bunk bed and couch and lamp. No open windows or AC. The portable AC was delivered the second night. The host attempted to contact us but we went exploring and in the mountains WIFI is rare so we didn’t receive notification until that evening. The cleaning lady was soooo helpful and sooo understanding!! She was the one who delivered the unit and her husband cut the grass. The actual HOST was not present and channeled everything through her and she did the best she could do with what was provided to her to get the rental ready. The location was good for us since we live near by but really not in a rustic woods. It was a nice stay BUT the HOST should have been more hands on and take responsibility for the UPKEEP and CARE of this property. The HOST puts tooo much on the cleaning lady instead of hiring a hands-on host to handle any problems that may arise. It would be greatly appreciated if we received at least a partial refund for the inconvenience of the lack of AC for the first and into the second days.
