This is a very nice place to stay with lovely people working here that make you feel welcome in Anguilla. Definitely recommend doing the boat ride if you can and all the water sports are great!

Great location, friendly staff for when I do get there. Resort has credited deposit to a future stay due to shutdown. No hassle at all. What more can one ask in these trying times. Stay well.

Great staff! One of the most beautiful beaches! The owner’s (Originally from California) are extremely friendly and genuinely nice. Definitely a place to visit.

I really liked my stay. Know that this is not a 5-star property but rather a very good 4-star place on a great beach. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Two suggestions: Ocean View rooms here have amazing views. We didn't get one, but wish we had. Anguilla has more upscale properties -- Four Seasons and Zemi Beach -- that are higher end and much more expensive. But Frangipani is a good choice unless you really want high end luxury.

This is a very nice property with updated rooms. The rooms are nicely furnished. Bathroom is A+. Staff are excellent, friendly and willing to give that extra service. The one thing the room needs is a coffee/tea station.

Best vacation I have ever had the resort is beautiful and staff is awesome managers Scott and Shannon are really down to earth people that make you feel right at home here. Rooms are very clean and comfortable. Meads bay is beautiful with many awesome restaurants within walking distance down beach from resort. Straw Hat serves up some of the best food and drinks as well for breakfast I recommend the Meads Bay seafood frittata delicious. Ocean echo great pizza and Drinks have to try the Rumzie one of best rum punches I have ever had. Blanchards has really good food at a reasonable price as well, Jacala most amazing dinner I have ever had along with Malliouhana. Make sure to try Rum Bada dessert at Jacala awesome. Boat excursion is a must do they take you to so many places in a day that are around the island. Shoal Bay east is best beach I have ever seen

Charming hotel on beautiful beach

Frangipani was a charming smaller resort with great access to steps away from infinity pool and beautiful Meads Beach. Shannon and Scott made us feel very welcome there - couldn't have been nicer! We enjoyed sailing on the Hobie Cat with Juman. He was so friendly. Restaurants in area were excellent - especially enjoyed Tastys and E's Oven, and Blanchard's Beach Shack. We had fun dancing at Gwen's BBQ Griil to reggae music on Sunday! We hope to return to the friendly people in Anguilla and stay at wonderful Frangipani!

Lugar de paz e conforto.

Adoramos a experiência no Frangipani!! A equipe nos recebeu extremamente bem, a piscina é uma delícia, a vista do pôr do sol é linda e existe um clima de paz maravilhoso!! Estivemos lá em nossa Lua de Mel e super recomendamos!! O restaurante anexo ao hotel serve uma comida muuuito saborosa e os atendentes são extremamente educados!!

Wonderful beach hotel

A lovely hotel right on a gorgeous white sand beach. The attached restaurant is excellent and serves three meals a day. There's a beautiful pool, comfortable and pleasant pool and beach chairs. Friendly, helpful and attentive staff and very well-maintained facility. The hotel has a large motorboat that will take guests on snorkeling, beach-hopping trips with a friendly and knowledgeable driver. Our room was super clean, roomy and comfortable. Our only negative is that there was no coffee maker in the room.

Perfect Location

The beach at Meads Bay is beautiful. The 1 BR ocean front suite was nicely decorated with 3 different balconies all with nice views of the ocean. This location is a foodie's dream location with multiple highly rated restaurants on the same beach. The people were so friendly. I recommend renting a car if you want to explore the island's other beaches too, but you must drive on the left side on Anguilla.

Close to JFK. Less than restful

We needed easy access to JFK for a layover. The shuttle is convenient and easy. The facility was fairly clean. Our issue was the noise. There was lots of noise from the lobby, occasionally from passing traffic, and most notably from the 3 am hammering that sounded like it was coming from the lobby or kitchen area. The room was clean, but we did not sleep well, mostly due to the noise.

Outstanding location

Wonderful experience overall, food was not as I remembered, for the quality breakfast was overpriced. Bathrooms are not practical... I however love the location, staff and everything else so it is safe to say that I will again visit..

Better than ever!

A hidden gem we almost hate to tell others about, yet must because we love it so! If you seek hidden perfection, white sandy beaches, lovely food and people and water sports, go here! The love and attention given to all is amazing...and we have grown to call this our Anguillian home away from home.

Fantastic Hotel in GREAT Location!

Outstanding staff!! We met the owners, many of the staff, and many of the guests, all of whom made us feel very welcome. The beach and view are incredible. On site waterspouts are included, to include skiing, sailing, etc. I am already planning a return visit, loved it that much.

best beach on Anguilla

The Frangipani Resort located on Mead's Bay in Anguilla is a small, quiet, friendly, relaxing, comfortable hotel in a spectacular setting. By the second day most of the staff knew us by our first names and were always ready to help us in any way they could. Scott and Shannon were some of the most welcoming hotel managers we've ever met - and when Scott's mom accompanied us on our beach hopping tour she added a wonderful welcoming feel to the entire experience. I've never seen such beautiful, aqua-colored water in my life - the snorkeling was great. Definitely rent a car from the airport - the island's not very big or very busy but walking places gets old after awhile. This is someplace we'd return to without question.

Never can be disappointed!!

We decided for a diversion to Anguilla after spending most of the week in French St Martin: Wow, we were blown away by this resort especially with the room upgrade with fantastic ocean front views and unforgettable sunsets. The room had two balconies, two bathrooms, full kitchen with top of the line furnishings. Nice touches were fresh flowers, real prints for wall decoration, granite countertops, mahogany double doors, cave shower, private foyer for entry. Very friendly staff and all water sports were complimentary. It would be hard to find a more beautiful beach anywhere: turquoise water with white powdery sand. Especially unique was the intimacy and beauty of the resort. We are planning to come back next year for a longer stay! PS Wish the cuisine was French.

Uncompromising Comfort

Boutique resort on Meads Bay in incomparable Anguilla. Lodging comfortable with good sized, well maintained rooms. Beach and pool supported by sizable and accommodating staff who are pleasant and quick to please, affording towels, beach drinks, etc at the wave of a flag. Added attraction, outstanding StrawHat Restaurant on premises, serving exceptionally prepared seafood dinners at moderate price for the island.

Spectacular beach and beautiful, intimate resort

Greeted with a cold drink while you overlook the beautiful views. People were friendly, helpful and welcoming. Loved our room, we looked over the ocean. Ate frequently at onsite restaurant, Straw Hat. Met the owners at a welcoming cocktail sunset party. They were present throughout our stay and were quick to check in and offer help and suggestions.

Beat place to stay on Anguilla.

Staying at the Frangipani is among the best experiences we've ever had. The staff went out of their way to accommodate us. The location right on Mead's Bay is excellent. The Straw Hat is an outstanding beach restaurant with reasonable prices for excellent food. It's truly a wonderful vacation experience.
