「Nice」

「It was really nice being able to get away from the crowds and traffic and stay someplace quiet and peaceful. The condo was perfect and our 6 year old loved the bunk beds.」

「Condo was clean, bed very comfortable, updated decor. A little disappointed to see that the condo next door was being remodeled & had a POD outside our front door. It would be nice to have a Keurig pod coffee maker available - just a suggestion. Overall a comfortable quiet condo. Would definitely stay there again.」

「We found clumps of hair in bathroom, dust on furniture and beef hands crumbs under sheets and mattress pad. I also got eaten to with something the first night i slept in it and is why we pulled all the sheets of and slept in blankets. Otherwise the condo was comfortable and loved the location.」

「This is a great condo with lake Aspen in your backyard. What’s nice about this condo is each bedroom has its own private bathroom. And there’s a beach so you can easily get into the water.」

「This unit did not have a dishwasher, although the instructions indicated “before leaving the unit, load the dishwasher…” we were not planning to wash dishes during this stay. We needed more blankets and we also didn’t realize the fireplace was wood burning. We had to buy wood; it ended up being more trouble than it was worth. The shower and tub dripped, the toilet ran nonstop, and the water actually had a bad smell. That being said, we enjoyed our stay and the grounds are beautiful!」

「The condo is in a great location, steps from the lake. There were five of us, and we had plenty of bedroom space and bathrooms. The only drawback was the lack of comfy furniture in the living room. A sectional that seats more people would be beneficial.」

「Location right on the beach was wonderful. Kitchen was well equipped and the furniture was all very new and comfortable. Things that would have made it perfect were more and better quality towels and a better/bigger TV in the main family room. Communication with the host was great.」

「The cottage is immaculately furnished inside, and the bed is very comfortable. Just a very short walk to Main Street. Would recommend to anyone who is visiting St. Charles.」

「We had a great time! The Red Barn was just what we needed for some quiet time to relax and take our time in St. Charles. The location is the perfect distance from the main street so you don't have to walk far to find something to do, but it's also not right on the "main drag" where you'd have people walking by all the time. Thanks for the hospitality!」
