「This was one of the best vacations our family had and it was majorly due to this property! The house was beautiful and had everything you could need. 「We really enjoyed our stay in Ulysses! The cabin was the perfect size for the 4 of us and the dog. The only (minor) downside was the proximity to U.S. 6. Sitting outside by the fire got a little noisy at times with the trucks going by, but we would definitely book this again!」

「This property was perfect for our visit back to Alfred. It’s very close to the village but far enough away that nighttime was quiet and peaceful, and the architecture of the space is one of a kind. Peter was a great host and I’d highly recommend this for anyone visiting Alfred.」

「Plumbing was a challenge because couldn’t wash dishes without boiling water and didn’t want to wash ourselves or brush our teeth with the smelly water. Also, the propane only lasted 2 days; was dead on 3rd day (probably because of boiling water). We enjoyed the solitude, even though the road noise is present. All in all it was a pleasant couple days as we lucked out with beautiful weather.」

「The house was perfect for our family weekend get-a-way! The views outside were just beautiful! Although the weather was rainy and cloudy most of the time, it didn’t stop the kids from fishing and paddle boating in the pond every day. 「From the beginning to the end, we were treated so good. And the most important part of our stay was the we were able to get the closet room for my 88 year old Mother, she has some walking issues so they put us on the first floor.
