Private 30-Acre Family Friendly Mountain Retreat: Peaceful Trails, Sauna & Views

"The Bray Hill House is more than just a destination, it’s an experience. Upon arriving to the home, we were immediately greeted by an expansive view of the Presidential Range. It is truly breath taking and simply can’t be captured with a photo. The landscape was well maintained with a manicured lawn and fresh garden beds. The inside of the home had everything you could need for a mountain retreat. There were notes and instructions throughout the home to set you up for success and guide you on things such as the beautiful Russian fireplace as well as the sauna. The kitchen was well stocked and the beds were plush and comfortable. The play station was a nice surprise and my husband and I enjoyed playing games we grew up with with our son. We spent most mornings and evenings out on the deck basking in the symphonies of nature and admiring the peaks and valleys of Presidential Range. Watching the sun crest over the mountain tops softening the ridges and spraying light across the tree tops was a highlight of the trip. But was even more exciting was how clearly we could see the Milky Way. I don’t know if I’ve ever seen the stars so vividly in my life. It felt like such a gift to be staring up into the night sky reflecting on our very own galaxy. The Bray Hill House was truly a trip my family and I will never forget. We can’t thank Israel enough for his hospitality and for opening up his beautiful home for others to enjoy. We can’t wait to return!"

"What a fantastic stay we had! It was just my GF, my dog and myself. The house was huge, we shut up the basement and 2 other bedrooms and never even used. The view from the deck was amazing, mountain ranges as far as the eyes could see and the wrap around porch made it easy to enjoy the property from all angles. Kitchen was well supplied and the hot tub was relaxing each evening. Quieter than any place I have ever been before, the only surprising thing was no animals whatsoever, not even crickets or birds! If you are looking for peace and quiet, but within 30 mins of some Mountain activities, I would highly recommend. King bed in Master bedroom was also very comfortable."

"This was our second time staying at this property and it’s a great home with plenty of space for our whole group. There was a small issue with getting the correct code for check in but the office was very responsive and after a few calls we were able to get it in with no further problems. The house is well stocked and there’s plenty of games and some toys for the kids. The multiple bathrooms are so helpful since we were a larger group with several children. We will definitely stay again in the future!"

"We had a great trip! My husband and I booked the mirror house for a weekend getaway! For a weekend, it was absolutely perfect! Small, intimate and cozy! We fully enjoyed the amenities such as the kayaks, hot tub, and sauna. Communication with Mary was always polite and prompt, and she gave such wonderful recommendations for things to do and places to eat! The only misunderstanding (which was a misunderstanding on my part) was we thought the location was going to be a tad more isolated than it was. However, that doesn’t take away from the charm and experience! There is a group of turkeys that frequents the area and being able to see them up close while being inside was really cool! The house is luxury tucked away in the wild!"

"Great quiet private location! Kayaking was so peaceful and the trails were great for dogs. I loved the amenities and info left for things to do in the area. Our host was super responsive too. The owners of this property have put a lot of love into every detail. We will be back! "
