Escape the city & come to nature-filled Waterford, ME. With 2 floors of living space & 7 bedrooms, this home can fit the entire family and more! Cable Tv and WiFi internet are available, but the abundance of outdoor recreational opportunities will keep you plenty busy. Located on a large plot of farmland, this property boasts breathtaking views and farm fresh feel.

The newest member of "The Hive" Homes. This newly renovated 3,300 sq. ft. modern farmhouse with an adjacent barn is completely surrounded by rock walls & rolling farm fields. Incredible farmhouse character consumes this entire 20 acre property, which is set back 1/8 of a mile from the quiet road. There is a 2-story 41 x 36 ft barn & a carriage house. Snow shoe (with our 7 pairs of LL Bean snow shoes/poles provided) & cross country ski on our gorgeous property. Snowmobile right from the front yard. Enjoy a large gourmet kitchen with a rustic island (Seats 4) and an 11 ft farmhouse kitchen table that seats 12 or more.

Located in the town adjacent to our Luxury Log Home at Shawnee Peak. Our goal is to provide a remarkable vacation experience for you & your guests! Managing our 4 luxury homes is my full time job, and I am readily available by phone or e-mail, and sometimes in person. This provides countless benefits to you, our guests that you will not get elsewhere.

We provide the following Services & Conveniences:
- 42 page guest information guide
- Late check out & early check in (when possible)
- 2 kayaks, paddles & life vests
- Fire Wood/Pallets for camp/bon fires
- Smores for your camp/bon fire
- 1/2 dozen sleds & 5 pairs of snow shoes/poles
- Driveway plowed, shoveled, & sanded by private company during winter

When you arrive, you will know you have come to a "Hive" Property

The Barn is available for Events for an extra Fee.

The house includes 7 bedrooms, 2 living rooms, 1 sunroom, a deck, and a fire pit. The driveway is 1/8 of a mile long and provides ample parking for an abundance of cars. Our house is a short drive from Norway and Bridgton. Day trips to Sundae River and North Conway, NH are also possible from this location.

About Us:
Since my wife, Andrea, & I got married in 1993, we always had a goal of owning a log home. This became reality in 2011, purchasing a contemporary & elegant log home in Bridgton, ME...The "Ski Hive" Luxury Mountain Log Home Trailside at Shawnee Peak Ski Area. We fell in love with this area, so we decided to launch our own vacation rental home business. In 2015 we purchased a second rustic, real lincoln log luxury mountain log home in Brownfield, ME (borders Conway, NH). "The Hive" At 35 Peaks View is 15 miles from Shawnee Peak. Next, in the summer of 2017, we purchased "The Hive" Lake House At Burnt Meadow Pond. This property, also in Brownfield, is only 3 miles away from "The Hive" At Birch Ridge. This boasts a large amount of private land (20 Acres) & sits high above our 100 ft waterfront area with incredible lake & mountain views. Lastly, we most recently added The Hive Newly Renovated Chic Farmhouse & Barn in 2019. This 7 bedroom farmhouse is located on abundance of land and is host to beautiful, country-themed weddings. "The Hive" arsenal of Luxury Log & Lake Homes of Western Maine is near and dear to our hearts. We hope to share some of our joy with you & your group/family!

The house is great and a good location but we all got bed bug bites from this stay. We also informed the house owner and they said we were lying and there is “no way they have them”. They aren’t health and safety aware!
