Great place for friends to gather.

Property outside is okay, deck rails very unstable if you need support getting up stairs. Inside the house was nice, a little musty smelling but nice cross ventilation cleared that out. Good layout and plenty of space for 4 to 5 people.

Good location to explore the area

Used the house as a base to do a salmon charter in Astoria and to razor clam at Sunset Beach. That was a big plus. However, one shower didn’t work which we were told on the way to the house. In addition, the grill we wanted to use for the salmon we caught is unusable and completely covered in rust. A grill should not be advertised in that state. Then we had to scrub the pots and pans that had sticky layers of grease to cook. The fire pit was nice but we tried to use the lawn chairs and only one wasn’t broken. Lastly, the ladder on the bunk bed was not secure on the bottom which gave my son problems. As indicated, a good location to launch off to do things. We dug limits of razors clams at the beach and could quickly access Seaside or Astoria. Nice living room area. Other than the issues described about it was as advertised.

Warrenton beach house

Perfect for the size of our party Well stocked house. A lot of parking. We did have a leak from upstairs bathroom, down in the lower hallway. (Beyond anyone's control). Ants were found in two of three rooms.and our luggage. And bit two of the kids.

Beautiful location

We absolutely loved our stay here. It is literally 2 minutes if that to the ocean. They have the cutest coffee shop on the corner who serves the very best chai tea and they were super friendly. The view is amazing it over looks some water and there’s a tiny park right across the street. My only complaint would be the cleanliness. We asked if we could check in early and I was going to pay for it but they said no because it needed clean. 4 hrs after I asked for early check in they said we could check in There were towels in the dryer. I pulled out the couch bed for my little boy and it was so full of crumbs. There were socks under the couches. But other than that it was an amazing stay. They were easy to work with as well. To the owners please get more boy toys they were all for girls and my son was sad. lol. Thank you for wonderful memories and an amazing stay. We would love to stay here again!!

Great house to stay at with young kids

Great place for kids with lots of games and toys for them to play with, plus a really cool bunk bed. Overall it was a really nice stay with a wide variety of things to do within a quick drive. Also, I highly recommend the bakery on the corner, very kid friendly with yummy bakery items.

Angst

Overall charming but had some issues. ANTS were the worst one. Upon closer review noticed ant stake in the kitchen window and insect spray in the closet. Had them on the kitchen counter several times and in the downstairs bedroom. Comfortable beds and furniture, but definite problem with a flaking recliner in the living room which had to be swept daily. We had gone to extra lengths to ensure there was parking for car and truck with boat. We were assured there would not be a problem, but the rules changed in the middle of our stay and we were told not to park in front of the house due to the HOA???

Great Location/

Thoroughly enjoyed our time there. It worked great with the park area across the street for the kids to play. Brought fishing pole and enjoyed that opportunity although with no luck. Everything was great, but for future reference perhaps access to a hose would be helpful to wash sand off of feet. House worked out great for our family.

A very relaxing stay

The property is what is displayed. It was very quiet and relaxing. It is a very good location for visiting Astoria, Seaside, and Cannon Beach. You should have a car to visit all the sights on the coast.

Wonderful place had a great price

We had a great time staying at the property. There were games for my five year-old grandson and family. It was about five blocks from the ocean and close to Seaside and Cannon Beach. We would definitely stay here again.

Beach fun location ideal for lake or beach

Lovely home the kitchen sink has a drip that needs fixed. Clean and fit all our needs while visiting family in the neighborhood. We will rent again in the future. Thank you. Barbara

Cute place, great location

A pleasant family stay

Everyone was pleased with the house and the location. The weather was great for early February. I do expect to stay here again. I would like to see development of the parking area with a walkway to the deck would be nice. I don’t really like to park on wet grass. The only reason I gave 4 stars on cleanliness was because we had to wash some silverware before we used them. Overall a pleasant stay.

Beautiful

Everything described was perfect. Chicken is easy it was a short walk a long short walk to the beach but that’s OK. We initially wanted to stay closer to Seaside but it actually wasn’t that far with a nice drive and lots of shops on the way. The only reason I wasn’t able to give this at five was the fact that it was not really clean. I am not trying to be Karenesc”, or dramatic, but the floors were awfully dirty (yes I know they’re floors) upon our first day, and it was pretty dusty on a lot of the furniture‘s, there were also taquitos left in the microwave from possibly the cleaning lady, or the previous visit. There was also an ant problem. It’s pretty common in areas like this, so it wasn’t a big deal but other than that it was actually a beautiful, peaceful and quiet. The little coffee shop on the corner had great customer service, everyone was friendly the pastries were delicious.

Great location with beautiful deck!

We enjoyed our stay here. There were four of us and we fit comfortably. The house was clean. Managers response time was very quick. The house was a short walk to the beach or golf course and only a few houses away from a delicious locally owned bakery. One suggestion would be to upgrade the patio furniture as the chairs were quite old. Overall, 5 stars and recommend this house to others!

Nice place

The cottage in Warrenton was great and really grew on us as we stayed there. When we arrived at check-in time at 4pm, the house was finished being cleaned, which was a little awkward. One of the comforters needed to be rewashed, was stained, but overall clean. Neighborhood was ok—location to the beach is great and lake across the street is a nice amenity. This isn’t the owners control, but the dock across the lake is in a state of disrepair and can be used at your own risk. Other than that, we loved the games in place, our kids loved the toys and the trundle bed, it was quiet, and the location was ideal being close to grocery shopping in Warrenton, etc, while being rural enough to get away. The house was very nice—updated, clean, huge washer and dryer. We hope to stay there again sometime.
