「Very clean, well maintained, good communication with host. Nice location in Marlinton (very small town so within walking distance of restaurants and small stores, iga a mile or so). Good wi fi, pet friendly, plenty of coffee in a nice kitchen.」

「Very nice property,」

「We had originally booked the studio apt for Jan 9 to visit an elderly parent - a family emergency came up and we had to move our visit to as soon as possible - the owner kindly allowed us to transfer the booking to an earlier date, the 5th (the day after my distressed call) at the cottage instead so other family members could stay as well. Owner is not local, so apparently did not know that the cottage was not quite prepared for guests- it was clean, but not stocked and had some repairs going...

「This home is a gem. We loved it and will certainly come back. The view was so tranquil. We loved the hot tub. We were ready to have an evening fire but it rain. Which wasn’t really a problem as we were watching the World Cup.The kitchen and bedrooms were so well appointed. If I had any critique is that we wish check out was at 11;00 so we could have stayed longer. Our host was so wonderful to respond to any question we had promptly. Thank you for the wonderful stay.」

「Such a cute bungalow! Perfect for a quick stay for a couple! Host was very responsive and understanding」

「Our family enjoyed all the rooms & amenities at the house. Everything was beautiful. The pool & kayaking were a hit. Touring the Greenbrier bunker was educational for all of us. I emailed the owner about a couple of things & he responded promptly. A great place for all of us!」

「The location was wonderful. When we arrived the bed looked very rumpled. When we pulled the bedspread back the sheets were not even completely on the mattress. The mattress was way too soft and very uncomfortable. The sheets were all wrinkled and we questioned if they had even been changed. The flooring in the kitchen had gaps in it. The shower faucet was coming off the wall. The towel rack in bathroom was coming off the wall. They gave you a tiny bar of soap that was barely enough for one...

「We had a great family ski trip. The condo was very nice and had everything we needed. The condo is so close to the shuttle bus stop we never drove our cars. This was such a bonus to our visit. Perfect location for skiing Silver Creek or Snowshoe. 」
