My wife and I had a wonderful couple of nights at Cameo Heights. It was our first time and hopefully won't be our last. We went for a couple of days of relaxation and it didn't disappoint. A great place, a hidden gem.

Classy, but some value issues.

Generally a classy place that tries hard to be the luxiry destination it claims. We made the mistake of booking the Dubai "suite" which it was not. The room was no bigger than a standard hotel room with no couch. There was one small window in the corner. The lighting was either too bright or almost none at all. Not worth the price - pay up for one of the better rooms. The Vine restaurant was good. Dinner w/wine for 2 came to around $200. The pool looked very pleasant.

Spectacular weekend retreat despite covid

Our stay at Cameo Heights Mansion was spectacular. The rooms were beautiful and had amazing touches like quality robes, gas fireplace, big TV, and even heated toilet seats with bidet. The food was delicious and accomodations for covid were reassuring but not intrusive. They have done so much to keep guests safe and comfortable. We loved the media room and other shared spaces. The design is welcoming and fun. We can't wait to come back when we can get the full experience post covid. It should be noted that this is not super close to Walla Walla so there is nothing immediately nearby (pharmacy, cafes, etc) but it's an easy jaunt to day trip around the area. We picked it to be more of a retreat so it was perfect for us.

The seven course dinner was fabulous. Me and my daughter enjoyed it very much. We had a bottle of local Walla-Walla White Zinfandel from Captain's list. The wine was excellent. We stayed in English Tudor room where is the attic. The balcony is beaufully facing the valley. We love the free in room wake upbreakfast service. My daughter had wonderful in room coffee and tea with freshly morning baked cherry danish. It added up the enjoyable experience with Cameo Heights. There are so many neat details such as your own parking space with your room name on it. With breakfast, the table reserved for our room - English Tudor #7. Very special, unique and nice touch. During breakfast time, Alan Cameo came out to turn on the music. We took a picture with him. At checkout, Alan's wife talked to us about their international travelings and shared with us their good experiences. We are thinking to go back some day.

There is nothing lacking at Cameo Heights Mansion

We found Cameo Heights Mansion by chance while searching online for a place to stay and what a find! Normally elegance and class aren't expected at the end of a somewhat dirt road off the main highway, but this place has that and more. One receives a truly warm welcome upon arrival leading to a thorough tour and explanation of the facility and all its amenities. If/when we return we would want to try a room other than the German room only because we prefer lots of natural light and this room is very dark. And possibly in another room one wouldn't hear an early morning phone ringing (twice) and then conversation? Coffee and a warm Danish delivered promptly at 8 a.m. is the prelude to a most delicious and ample breakfast. We highly recommend the 7 course dinner and wine pairing; it truly elevated our overnight experience to exceptional.

The Mansion on the way to Walla Walla

This B&B is perfect for an anniversary or travelling with other couples. Breakfast was delicious...chocolates on your nightstand...snacks and drinks in the game/movie room are all included. Comfortable bed, soft linens and bath towels, huge TV Air conditioner was on the loud end and there is a waterfall in the pool, so it's a constant sound...soothing for most, but not for all of us. Each room has it's own parking space, which is nice. They have a restaurant for dinner (The Vine...must make reservation) that does a tasting menu...it's tasty & they did a great job with the wine pairings, but don't feel like you have to go there...Walla Walla is not that far away and there are so many choices.

We went to the Cameo Heights Mansion for our honeymoon and it was a great place to stay. From hiking in the orchards and vineyards to the view of the area from the room, to the mansion itself, it was all great.

Beautiful location with unprofessional staffing

A beautiful location with a very unwelcoming and unprofessional staff, who made our visit with a service animal impossible. We didn't stay the evening, leaving after less than an hour. The staff clearly does not know how to treat guests with service animals and was rude, intrusive and wholly inappropriate.

The setting and accommodations are first class

The seven course meal with wine pairings was over the top but for the cost it should be. The room was very nice also but again for the money it should be. My only grip was I did not have to be told things like, "If you spill wine on the expensive carpet you will have to pay to get it cleaned" Also the tokens for payment of snacks seemed a bit hokey to me. The grounds were great and the walking area very nice.
