Mountain hut with charm in a dream location for self-catering

A natural house made of wood and stone at a height of approx. 850m for holidays of a special kind as well as celebrations (birthdays, company outings, company events etc.) especially suitable for groups, associations or family associations.

The owner renovated the 200-year-old house in an environmentally friendly manner and expanded it into a piece of jewelry.

Switch off. Enjoy nature and tranquility without TV and internet. Remember old values like cozy get-togethers with entertainment and card games.

The restaurant is furnished with a bar and dispensing system like an inn and offers space for about 40 people to celebrate. The cozy farmhouse room accommodates another 20 people.

The kitchen offers full equipment with an electric stove, refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, many small appliances as well as dishes and cutlery in sufficient quantities.
A cool drinks room is also available.

In the hut there are 6 bedrooms with a total of 24 beds (and 2 cots) as well as 2 bathrooms with shower (hairdryer available) on the upper floor and 2 guest toilets on the ground floor.

Outside there is a large parking lot directly at the hut, a terrace with self-made garden furniture, a children's playground and a large barbecue area with stone furniture.

Breakfast service and party service can be booked, also pizza delivery service.

Drinks can be delivered directly from the landlord on request.


Super location in the border triangle of Bavaria, Austria and the Czech Republic with a fantastic view and countless excursions.

Passau, the three-river city (Bavarian Venice) is always worth a visit. The cathedral houses the largest church organ in the world. Stroll through the remarkable old town and the Italian-style Inn promenade along to the top, where Inn and Ilz unite with the Danube.

Metropolises such as Munich, Salzburg, Linz or Prague are only about 1-2 hours away and are worth a visit.

In addition, trips to the Bavarian Forest National Park are highly recommended. Arber, Rachel and Lusen invite you to hike in the mountains and the treetop path takes you to lofty heights.

Unser Aufenthalt in der Schauberger Hütte

Wir (17 Erwachsene) hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt (2 Nächte) bei bestem Wetter, alle haben sich sehr wohl gefühlt.Hier ein paar Stichpunkte:- bereits vorab sehr nette und unkomplizierte Kommunikation mit Familie Schauberger- Übergabe verlief reibungslos - alles sehr sauber- Frühstücksservice von Frau Niggl sehr zu empfehlen Unser Fazit: die Schauberger Hütte ist sehr zu empfehlen, wir kommen gerne wieder :)

Schöne urige Hütte

Die Hütte war sehr gemütlich und wir hatten ein tolles Hüttenwochenende. Der Holzherd in der Stube ist ein Highlight und macht die Hütte direkt noch gemütlicher. Was eventuell wichtig ist, wenn man mit Kindern reist, die in den Mehrbettzimmern schlafen sollen: bei den oberen Betten ist kein Geländer dran. Wer sich im Schlaf also viel bewegt, sollte besser unten schlafen :D Die Gegend ist auch sehr schön. Von der Holzbank vor der Haustüre hat man einen traumhaften Ausblick. Kleinere Wanderungen können direkt von der Hütte aus gemacht werden. Wir haben eine leichte Wanderungen mit Kleinkindern gemacht und sind die Saußbachklamm entlang gelaufen. Eine Kraxe ist zu empfehlen, es ist aber auch mit einem guten Buggy möglich. Wir können die Hütte und die Gegend also nur weiterempfehlen.

Super Hütte

Unsere Osterferien in der Schaubergerhütte waren sehr erholsam. Es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Super Sercice ( Bäcker, Getränke ). Danke dafür. Sehr freundliche und hilfsbereite Vermieter. Wir kommen gerne mal wieder.

Ein super gelungener, gemütlicher Sorgenfreier Urlaub

Wir waren 11 Erwachsene und 9 Kinder und uns hat es an nichts gefehlt. Wir haben den Brötchenservice mit in Anspruch genommen. Super Service super leckere Backwaren. Der vermietet hat uns auf Wunsch die Getränke bereit gestellt, auch das hat super geklappt. Wirklich ein tolles Haus. Die oberen Bäder sind neu renoviert mit zwei modernen Duschen. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Zwei Sachen hat uns nicht ganz so gefallen. Der Außenbereich müsste mal wieder auf neuen Stand gebracht werden, egal ob Tische Bänke oder auch der Grill und wir hatten ein kleines Ameisen Problem. Ansonsten alles top. Wir kommen sehr gern wieder.

Traumhaftes Wochenende

Im Rahmen eines 60sten Geburtstages waren wir in der Schauberger Hütte zu Gast. Die Hütte ist ein Traum, ganz urig eingerichtet, tolle Lage, viel Platz und super ausgestattet. Der Kontakt mit Herr Schauberger war ebenfalls top und wir können die Unterkunft nur wärmstens weiterempfehlen :)

Geburtstagsfeier

Die Hütte war genau das, was ich mir für meine Party vorgestellt habe. Es gab alles was man braucht, es war sauber, es war sehr gemütlich mit toller Landschaft, es war warm! Und jeder hatte genug Platz und Möglichkeit sich zurückzuziehen. Kann ich nur empfehlen! Es gibt außerdem Bälle, eine Tischtennisplatte und genug Möglichkeiten auch die kleineren zu Unterhalten.

Berghütte mit Charme

Berghütte mit Charme in Traumlage für Selbstversorger trifft den Nagel auf den Kopf. Wir waren mit einer 20 köpfigen Familienbande für ein Wochenende auf dieser wunderbaren Hütte. Es ist alles da, was man so benötigt. Der Vermieter ist absolut zuverlässiger und ein unkomplizierter und ebenso sympathischer Typ. Hat uns die Getränke für das Wochenende besorgt und in die Hütte gebracht. 1A Service. Auch der Brötchenservice der Bäckerei Fesl kann ich nur empfehlen. Toller Service und gute Qualität der bestellten Ware. Das Wochenende war ein voller Erfolg, was auch dieser einmaligen und urigen Hütte mit seiner Umgebung zu verdienen ist. Jederzeit wieder ! Es sei aber gesagt, wer 5 Sterne Luxushotel gewöhnt ist, für den ist diese zauberhafte Berghütte eher nicht geeignet.

Tolle rustikale Hütte

Meine Familie war sehr zufrieden mit der Hütte, die einen ganz besonderen Charme hat. Aufgrund der höheren Lage hatten wir sogar Schnee über die Weihnachtszeit und die Kinder konnten sich direkt am Berg neben der Hütte austoben. Die Hütte selbst ist geschmackvoll eingerichtet, ausreichend beheizt und mit allen nötigen Küchenutensilien ausgestattet. Vielen herzlichen Dank!

Uhrige Hütte mit guter Ausstattung

Es waren sehr schöne Tage im Bayerischen Wald. Die Hütte ist gut ausgestattet und die Vermieter sind sehr zuvorkommend und nett. Wir waren insgesamt fünf Familien mit 9 Kindern zwischen 0 und 7 Jahren.

Wunderbar!

Wir hatten die Hütte für einen 30. Geburtstag gemietet und waren allesamt hellauf begeistert! Die Umgebung ist prima, da weit und breit niemand ist. Das Haus ist wunderbar ausgestattet mit allen Küchenutensilien die es braucht, einem Lagerfeuerplatz, Grill und ausreichend Sitzmöglichkeiten ... alles in allem auf jeden Fall empfehlenswert!
