Hotel was zeer mooi versiert in teken van Kerstmis. Correcte en vriendelijk hotelpersoneel. Uitgebreid buffet. Kamers waren groot genoeg en vernieuwd. Enige kleine minpunt was de wellness. Rust rond het zwembad was er niet door te kleine kinderen en geen introductie gekregen over de wellness faciliteiten.

En arrivant ,ai demandé s'il y avait des possibilités de demi pension ,on nous a répondu sèchement que ce n'était pas possible en tant de clients Expedia ! le ton était donné et n'a pas varié ,donc chambre minuscule (sans penderie ! ) donnant sur une plateforme couverte d'appareils de clim ,bonjour la belle vue ! pas de salon ,où on puisse aller en temps de pluie. Ne convient ABSOLUMENT pas pour de longs séjours . A part l'accueil ,personnel impeccable de gentillesse et de professionalisme (merci à Patou et les autres ! )

Een verblijf waar ik meer van had verwacht

-De mensen aan het onthaal spraken geen Nederlands. Ze waren echter wel behulpzaam. -De badkamer in de kamer was verouderd met grijze vlekken op het plafond, er hing een vreemde geur. -Het bed was ruim en lag goed. -De welness was erg duur, 50 euro. Er waren niet voldoende ligzetels aanwezig. Aangezien de binnensaunas erg klein waren kon je hier maar met 2 pers in. Het saunagedeelte was wel vernieuwd en ziet er netjes uit maar te klein voor het aantal mensen dat aanwezig was. Een pluspunt is de verzorgde relaxruimte met waterbedden. -Het gastronomisch restaurant was lekker maar niet uitmuntend. Het voorgerecht van koude visburger was erg flauw van smaak. - De preisoep die ik gegeten heb in de bar was erg zout. -De lift stonk naar sigarettenrook. -de ontbijtruimte zag er grauw, gedateerd uit. -Het ontbijt was uitgebreid en lekker.

Bijzonder leuk hotel in de mooie Hoge Venen. De vernieuwde buitenwellness is schitterend en de omgeving heel aangenaam en mooi om te wandelen. Het ontbijt is uitgebreid en verzorgd. Het diner in het gastronomisch restaurant zeer lekker en correct qua prijs. Een aanrader in de directe omgeving is de gegidste rondleiding van het Kasteel Reinhardstein.

Heerlijk verblijf: je kan fantastische wandelingen maken (met de auto enkele minuten rijden van Signal de Botrange); daarna lekker lui in de doezelig-warme zwemruimte gaan relaxen op zetels en dan heerlijk polsen in het zwembad en genieten in de jacuzzi; je kan in je badjas gewoon naar de bar wandelen en daar een koffietje drinken of van lekkere gerechten smullen; kortom, schitterend voor wie wat beweging en zen wil combineren...er is trouwens een goed wellnesscentrum, waar de massage paradijslijk was. Eén puntje van kritiek: het ontbijt mag voor die prijs een ietsje meer zijn.

Nice hotel

Nice hotel,good price for the room, thought €20 for breakfast was a bit step. Food was OK but not brilliant. Drinks in the bar were also expensive. Rooms were clean and tidy but the heating made a bit of a noise. The lift broke down with some of my party in, but the staff got them out in a few minutes.

Déception totale

Si le coté "Shining" version allemand des couloirs, avec la moquette verte flashy peut être amusant, la déco extérieur et surtout les chambres sans charme font penser à un camp Adeps pour ado des 70's. La SDB avec baignoire brune, la robinetterie sans pression et sans thermostat, on est loin d'un 4 étoiles, voire d'un trois. Mais le plus choquant est le prix 129 euros "en promo" + 40 euros de petit déjeuner pour 2 + 40 euros pour l'accès au Wellness (nous pensions que c'était compris dans la réservation, nous avions pourtant fait attention sous le conseil d'un groupe d'amis) + 7 euros de frais de jour, cela fait 216 euros la nuit, tout simplement pas adéquat. Le Wellness est minuscule, la peinture du Hamam s'effrite sur notre tête, un coussin en bois du Sauna avec des clous rouillés, pas de transats disponibles.. Nous y allions aussi pour le resto "gastronomique", mais il y a malentendu dans mon mail lorsque j'ai demandé le menu, la réservation n'a pas été faite. Celui ci étant complet, obligé d'aller à la brasserie surchauffée, où, entre un boulet liégeois, un vol au vent et un steak, notre choix se portent par dépit sur le plat du jour en Suggestion de la carte, "les moules sont arrivées affichent-ils partout", seulement 30' après notre commande de moules, le serveur, parlant à peine français, nous annonce qu'il n'y en a plus. Sans entrée ni dessert, la note de la brasserie attendra tout de même 73 euros, après avoir fait décompter un café que nous n'avions pas pris.

Old fashioned. Empty rooms, small spa. Not everything was working. There showers in the spa for example were almost dry. No comfort, very simple food. All in all way too expensive

Lovely area but no air con and everthing is extra

This was our only 4 star hotel on our motorcycle tour of Europe and was such a disappointment. Firstly it was very hot when we arrived and there is no air con in the bedrooms, all of other hotels had this and we literally sweated in the bedroom, awful. The picture shows the swimming pool and I was aware of spa facilities, however they wanted a further £40 to use these facilities and you had to have slippers and gown, which of course we didn't, so they wanted another £24 to rent those. what made me mad was guests could not just go for a swim in the price, especially given it so hot and no air con. Then the evening meal only has a fixed option of two course for £35 each, so another £70 to eat there. We drove back to Jalhay (15 mins) north west and found a lovely Italian restaurant Restaurant Pezzetti, lovely place with great food and prices. Our room also had a dreadful view of the roof, such a shame given how lovely the surrounding area is. No tea or coffee making facilities, in a 4* first for me! The bedroom hallways stunk of stale cigarettes. Very odd and slightly dangerous lift to the bedrooms. Open car park, no security barriers. The area is very beautiful for walks in the countryside with lovely woods. But I won't be staying there again, due to above.

Un hôtel 4 étoiles plus très brillantes

Pour un hôtel 4 étoiles, nous avons été déçu de l'état du bâtiment extérieur ainsi que des infrastructures extérieures (mini-golf, plaine de jeux, ...). Nous nous attendions à un hôtel plus net : peinture abimée. De plus les documents reçus lors de notre arrivée ne correspondent pas à la réalité : il était indiqué que nous pouvions encore bénéficié de la piscine après avoir quitté notre chambre et lorsque nous avons rendu notre clé on nous expliqué que ça c'était avant !!! Il me semble que changé un document à l'ère de l'informatique ne prend pas des heures d'où une amère déception
