  • Location and history all in one! This is an updated, remodeled 1912 duplex home has so much character and charm yet loaded with modern amenities. Sound proofed and quiet, you will have one entire side of the property all to yourself with a fully fenced private side yard. A short walk to Dewey Park for a game of frisby golf, a short drive to Cameron Park, the zoo, the Brazos. Shop the Silos, cheer on our Baylor Bears then come home and unwind and catch a movie on our state-of-the-art Frame TV!

Great, clean place to stay

Enjoyed our stay. Decorated beautifully and is very clean with all the amenities. Only downside is that its on a loud busy road.

Great stay at this cute cottage!

Overall, our stay at this property was excellent! The house was clean, welcoming and relatively well-equipped. There were three of us who stayed for graduation and we hosted our family for two meals. We did bring in some extra chairs but otherwise there was plenty of space for everyone. The kitchen is small but sufficient for our needs. The check-in process went very smoothly with all the necessary information sent in a timely fashion. Communication was really great during our stay. Shortly after arrival I noticed there were no extra rolls of paper towel anywhere so I asked about that and they dropped a roll off within 30 minutes. Also, the smoke alarm in the main bedroom went off multiple times in the middle of the first night and the owner replied to my message quickly in the very early morning hours. The maintenance guy called at 5:30am to check on the situation and then came to the house around 6:30 to replace the entire smoke alarm unit. The bathroom is very clean and updated. They provide shampoo, conditioner and lotion but no body soap (which may have been listed in the description but I missed that and we didn’t bring any). The dishwasher wasn’t working (they told me before arrival) but they said to just leave dirty dishes in the sink. No garbage disposal or ice maker (they have two trays in the freezer) but these are obviously not essentials. Only real suggestion would be to add a more substantial doorknob/lock to the side door for safety purposes.

Cute Place

A cute little place for a getaway to Waco. The place was updated and decorated very nice. Maggie provided area recommendations and we had a good time.
