「It was like taking a step back to the 14th century...With a great bathroom! The whole property is beautiful. The modern bathroom and shower is 21st century with radiant heat in the floors. All of the staff went out of their way to make sure our stay was awesome. Thanks to Veronic and Rayanon.」

「We stayed here to visit the small where my ancestors were from. The Chateau was very charming and comfortable. James and Celine were wonderful hosts and so helpful- our trains were inconvenient and James kindly gave us a ride to the town and next train station. The breakfast was very good. The town of Montlouis itself is very small with not much to see but James reccomended nearby Ambois has castles and many things see and do. 」

「What an incredible coincidence! We stayed at this same hotel in the same room 8 years ago! Last time, the little bed in the corner wasn’t necessary for a couple, but this time we came with our 2 year old son who loved sleeping in his first real bed! The new indoor pool is a luxurious addition since our 2016 stay and this time we splurged for the in-room breakfast, which was so copious and delicious that we haven’t been hungry for the rest of the day! More than worth the additional charge! 」

「We had a wonderful time at Les Closeaux! The kids played tennis and the pool was clean and warm. The area surrounding the gites was beautiful- we took several long walks. The meal we had in the restaurant was absolutely delicious! All five of us loved our meals! We also used the barbecue one night to cook out. The gite had everything we needed to prepare a meal. We had a great experience here!!」

「More of a "Bed & Breakfast"-type stay than a hotel, we had a large bedroom with a bathroom and access to a shared kitchenette on the same floor. The room was clean and comfortable and Mary was friendly and helpful. It is a short walk across the bridge to the downtown area with all the shops and restaurants. I had no problem finding street parking but the streets are very narrow.」

「Lovely place, and very nice owners. Great rooms and beds. The pool was fun, and the hot tub very nice. And the breakfast was fantastic. The only thing to be aware of is that if you don't have a car it's hard to get to (taxis are hard to come by in Amboise), and a decent walk from downtown Amboise.」

La tv qui n'a pas toutes les chaines avec un démodulateur. Pas de bureau pour travailler . Déçu, la personne que j'ai vu là bas est très sympa , mais les prestations sont a revoir pour le prix .」

「We had a wonderful holiday at le moulin de la follaine. Its a calm and quiet, lush place and a great location from which you can travel to all the wonders of the pays Loire. We stayed at the gite, resembling a cute cottage, for a week and a half. There is a beautiful private garden when you rent the gite, but the whole premise (pond included) is accessible, very pretty and filled with animals such as 4 great cats, geese and chickens. The hosts were welcoming and accomodating. We would definitely...
