Final leg on Big Island
After attending a wedding and staying at a resort at the northwest side of the island, we decided to try the opposite side. Very comfortable location overlooking a golf course. Even played a few holes. Very short drive to Volcano National Park where we spent quite a bit of time. Home was very clean, well equipped and owners were very accommodating. Very relaxing location. I highly recommend this location and would definitely come back if I was to stay in the area.

Wir haben nachts sehr gefroren, die kleinen Elektroheizstrahler sind zu wenig. Wir waren im März dort, ist zu dieser Jahreszeit eigentlich nicht bewohnbar. Wir haben mit Schal. Pullover, Hose etc. geschlafen. Code zum Öffnen der Tür am Anreisetag war nicht klar verständlich.

Beautiful, peaceful getaway!
The cabin did not disappoint! Such a beautiful, quiet location and the cabin was stocked with the nicest amenities. The beds and linens were so comfy. My kids wished we had stayed here longer!

Volcano Vacation
This stay was our 3rd at Kilauea Cabin. We love the proximity to Volcanoes National Park and view of the golf course. The cabin is very comfortable, clean, and well equipped. The shower is fantastic as are the thick, fluffy towels. We love this place and will definitely be back.

Work/Play Visit
We were able to combine work and play while staying at this lovely cabin. Not our first time staying here and hopefully, not our last. Volcano is magical and the cabin is warm and inviting, well-equipped, clean and perfect for anyone looking for some peace and quiet in Volcano. The owners were incredibly responsive and everything was perfect!

Very nice property
This is a beautiful cabin very clean. The description of this property is very accurate. The only complaint I would have is that I would have like a tv in the bedroom. This is nothing against the owner it is we are used to falling asleep with one. Very quiet and relaxing and the hot tub was a plus.

Charming house with character!
We stayed here for three nights and loved everything about this unique and lovely house. The communication with the owners was easy, as was the check-in process. The location was perfect for us- a quiet neighborhood very close to the park entrance. I do actually think the weather was slightly better here than in Volcano! Beautiful view of the golf course and landscape. The house was clean and very well stocked with everything we needed, the Wi-Fi was great and the hot tub was appreciated. The only small recommendation I might make would be brighter lights in the bedrooms. It did get chilly so I’d suggest packing a sweatshirt & cozy socks. We live in a log house and loved the “cabin” feel of the place and the lava rock fireplace. Mahalo for a great stay!

Perfect Volcano Vacation
We have absolutely no complaints about our stay here. The check-in process was simple and exactly as described. The house was very clean, the hot-tub was hot, and the location was perfect for quick access into the National Park. 5 out of 5 stars across the board. Mahalo!

Lovely escape

Great little family staycation!
We stayed here for a weekend because our daughter had a hula performance at volcano national park. What a lovely treat it was to enjoy the beautiful house with a wood burning fireplace! Both our girls loved it and we will definitely be back again!

Nice quiet, private and beautiful greenery everywhere. Owners have thought of everything we could need. As former VRBO owners we appreciated everything they thought of. All the way down to plugs by each bedside for plugging in devices. Easy to recommend this house.

The perfect spot to decompress
This property is the perfect decompress spot that I know! It has everything you need...comfortable beds, soft linens, all the requirements needed for a home cooked meal (and beautiful wooden spoons!), the hot tub after a day hiking in the Nat'l Park - and the mist in the morning. A perfect decompress!

Thanksgiving weekend at Hawaii Volcanoes National Park
Jeff and Cathy’s Kilauea Cabin was perfect for our trip to Hawaii Volcanoes National Park. Perfect home for a small family. Location is close to everything you want to do in Volcano. The golf course view is beautiful. The hosts made everything wonderful for our trip. Highly recommend this property and would stay here again when we visit the area.

Volcano Golf
Being from Hawaii and living on the Big Island, we have been to volcano many times. This trip’s focus was golf. We were so blessed to stay in this vrbo on the golf course. The weather was perfect for golfing. The hot tub and fireplace was a great addition to our stay. Only suggestion would be an outdoor grill.

Kilauea Cabin is Great!
We have stayed at Kilauea Cabin twice. The living room comfortable and looks out to the golf course. The kitchen is large and fully equipped. We like the quiet neighborhood and convenient to Volcanoes National Park. You"ll need the heaters or fireplace in the morning but the sun really heats up the living room in the afternoon. Those windows and the ones facing the golf course have no curtains which is a little unnerving at night and my only con for the property. However we will stay again. .

Great location
This cabin was just a perfect base for exploring the national park just a five minute drive away. We hiked during the day, returned for a meal and lounging on the deck, and then made the quick trip over at night to view the volcano. Very clean and well outfitted. The owners were very responsive as well. We recommend the ranger led tour to the crater floor and the Kilauea Lodge for dining/takeout.

Perfect place for Hawai'i Volcanos Park visits!
My brother and I stayed here for only 2 nights and would have stayed longer had it been available. Very well-appointed cabin with 2 comfortable bedrooms, fully equipped kitchen, laundry on-site, plus a relaxing hot-tub. Perfect amenities for a long day hiking and exploring around the very nearby Volcanos park. We'd love to return and stay here again!

Cute log cabin near Volcanos NP
What a wonderful place to hang out near the world famous Hawaii Volcanoes NP. Short drive and you are right into the entrance of the park. The property is by a golf course. Beautiful vista and very tranquil. Relaxing and quiet. If you happens to be there over Sundays, don’t miss the Volcano Farmers market. Back to nature! The cabin is as advertising, rustic, cute and have all the modern amenities that you could possible built into a cabin constructed with Lincoln type of logs. You will be at high country. Don’t need central AC and pool etc. There is a private Jacuzzi on the deck which we didn’t get a chance to enjoy. The star glazing in the Jacuzzi would be a wonderful experience. High rating all around. Aloha!

Easy access to Volcano
We wanted to see the volcano at night and this was the perfect place to stay for that. The spacious cabin is comfortable and clean, with everything you need (e.g., coffee filters) to get yourself ready for a day at the park. It’s also a wonderful place to recover. On a clear night you’ll see thousands of stars. On a foggy one you might catch the orange glow of the volcano.

I enjoyed the great shower, especially after being in rain and wanting to get warm. I wanted to be along the golf course, to be entertained by duffers and enjoyed the deck location facing a green. Comfortable home away from Hilo home.

Best VRBO I've ever stayed at
The location was perfect for exploring Volcano National Park. This was the best set up VRBO I've ever stayed at. All the details were there. For example: labeled light switches, lots of plugs, and the kitchen knives were even sharp! It's clear that the owners have stayed at VRBOs and know what guests need. We enjoyed the hot tub, and the neighborhood was super nice. We couldn't have asked for more.

Reaffirmed Belief in At-Home Stays
My wife and I live on Oahu but wanted a quick getaway to a cooler climate. We brought out 7 month old infant along and the stay was fantastic. We have been hosts in the past (for two years) and if we would do it again we would design the experience around this. All the details are correct. The cabin was super clean and cozy. The hot tub at night or early morning was fantastic. Don't sleep on the fact that they have a pack and play there. Our little guy didn't sleep too well because it was chilly and we couldn't figure out how to time the space heaters correctly, but that's the parenting life. The fireplace was great and easy with the Duraflames and if we come back to this side of the Big Island we will make sure to stay here again. P.S. Make sure you stock up on groceries in Hilo or Kona before coming to this side. The Foodland in Keeanu is not the best in terms of prepared or almost-prepared foods. Stuff you'd look for to not cook the entire time you are on vacation. The dining out scene is not a thing around the Volcano. Limited options with mediocre food that is more expensive than Oahu. Lessons for next time we visit!

Great stay in an enchanting location
Minutes from Hawaiian Volcanoes National Park, this was a perfect base to explore that amazing natural location. The house was immaculate, loved all of it - the all-wood cabin, the gorgeous yard, the comfy furniture . I will say it gets a lot colder than one might expect for Hawaii, and there's no central heating

It is colder in Volcano, Hawai'i (4000' elevation) than at the coast in Hawai'i. There is a wood burning fireplace and space heaters for your use while you stay.

Wonderful getaway
We loved this VOlcano retreat. So close to the park and so quiet. The house is very well laid out with everything you might need. It's great when you stay somewhere that they owners have put a lot of thought into making it a pleasant place to stay as is obvious here. We would love to stay here again in the future. Highly recommended!
