Best B & B ever, and I have traveled a lot
Amazing! If I could find a better word, I would. The owners, John and Karma, are fabulous. Property is beautiful, superbly maintained, immaculately clean, and comfortable. I stayed in one of the cabins for three days and it was wonderful and quiet. Breakfast was superb each day. Highly, highly, highly recommend

The cabin was super clean, had everything we needed, and u still felt like u went back in time. Carma was a super hostess and made delicious breakfasts. Highly recommend this B&B.

Carma and John are such warm, entertaining hosts! Our cabin was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. Even had coffee and a nice coffee maker. We will stay again.

Enjoy the charm
We felt the title says it all. The hosts were great! Since the prop was older, it was somewhat quaint. We really enjoyed to experience. Breakfast was great. While it doesn't compare to a motel, the B&B experience is part of the charm.

Karma was a wonderful host, location is adjacent to a lovely Nevada City rebuilt village. Breakfast was perfect after days of cold bagels. Definitely would stay here again when I’m in the area.

The unique and delightful "rustic" quality of the cabins was offset by efficient heating and comfortable beds, a nicely-equipped kitchen, and cosy atmosphere.

Loved our stay at one of their rustic cabins! Truely a unique experience. Cozy, clean and snug. Located right next to old west ghost town of Nevada City and within a mile of Virginia City. Although we were there in offseason Oct, there was still plenty to see and do. Friendly host and hostess. Delicious breakfast, too. Highly recommend to couples or families in all seasons. Loft bedroom would be a big hit with kids. Good German restaurant for dinner in Virginia City.

It is a very quaint property, lovely evenings outside under the stars. Hosts are very welcoming. Only drawback was size of bed. Quoted as Queen size but is more a double. A bit tight for a couple of our size. Also no aircon, would be a bit warm on a hot night. Breakfast was great.

Gem 💎 of an experience
Phenomenal. The owners are gems, great hosts, were very sweet and engaging with my 10 year old son (who loved the collection of gems/minerals for sale and from their private collection), down to earth and excellent chefs. I appreciated that they also asked about any food allergies without our having to bring it up. My only regret is that I totally forgot to leave a tip as they made us feel so at home that it didn’t occur to me like in a typical lodging departure. It’s well located within walking distance to a Nevada City museum and train experience and a short drive from Virginia City. It made a nice first stop of our vaca en route to Yellowstone. It’s also a absolute steal! We would totally return for the views, the company and the breakfast alfresco.

We stayed 2 nights here. John and Karma are amazing hosts! So knowledgeable about so many things there including things to see and do. The breakfasts were amazing and we met other really nice couples there and had such a good time with everyone there. We hated to leave. They really make you feel like you’re at home.
